Well, it's not optimal or anything, but you can certainly do it and pick up all the talents you really need. You just miss out on either having Deep Wounds, or getting some of the nicer-but-optional defensive talents like Improved Disciplines and Improved Spell Reflect. So it's not the best idea, but it's not super terrible. With decent gear you could certainly use it in heroics, if nothing else.
Were you to do it, I'd personally move things around a bit. Pull points in Booming Voice and Imp. Charge into Cruelty. With no Deep Wounds, you'll want the extra crit to generate aggro.

would work. I'd pull a point from Imp. Revenge to Cruelty, but I saw you glyphed Revenge so I'm guessing you like to use it a fair deal.

You could even take 2 pts from Shield Mastery, put them into Improved Disciplines, and replace the revenge glyph with Shield Wall to boost your EH even further. This might screw with your threat gen though, so it's purely optional
Improved Disciplines does not affect your EH.

If you're going for survivability go all the way. Just make sure you've reached the threat caps or have someone who likes wasting dps on MDing on you :P

Great input guys! Thanks for the answers. I've decided to come up with this build. It's a little mix of threat and survivability.

3 talent points in Deep Wounds will be anywhere from a 5% to an 8% damage increase. 2 talent points in Improved Revenge is around 1.5% damage increase. Something to keep in mind.

i wouldn't worry about imp demo shout
it isn't needed on trash and on bosses other classes/specs can reduce the boss' AP to 0 with less sacrifice and effort
fury warriors can spare the 5 points before prot can as it's in their main tree or even grab it as they descend the tree
ret pallies can apply it passively and for a measly 2 talent points
affliction locks can spare 2 points before prot as it's in their main tree or even grab it as they descend the tree
even if you don't have one of these classes/specs with you you can easily get by without imp demo shout and if it's a hard mode then i'm sure you do have one of those 3

ret's AP reduction IS improved and WILL reduce a boss' AP to 0 and there's absolutely no reason a ret can't spare 2 of their ~8 leftover talents for it or even moreso that they didn't already grab it while descending the tree
relative order of who should apply AP debuff
ret (only 2 talent points that're easily available and requires no GCD)
affliction (only 2 talent points that're fairly available and 1 GCD every 2 minutes)
fury (5 talent points in the primary tree they could grab on their way down and 1 GCD every 30 seconds)
arms (5 talents in their secondary tree they can grab on their way down and 1 gcd every 30 seconds)
prot pally (same as ret only not as easily available)
prot warrior/feral tank (5 talent points, better spent toward threat and survivability which nobody else can spec for you, and 1 GCD every 30 seconds)
