There are no what you can call 'tanking weapon for DK' before Naxx I believe. Still even when raiding, the so called tanking weapon for DKs is a 2-hander with hit or expertise on it. Dual wielding two one-hander tanking weapon is stupid, the reason you may be able to find them on stickes.
Anyway any two-handers with the highest dmg are a good tanking weapon for DK.
Get
Axe of Frozen Death like the above post said, an easily obtainable quest reward. Runeforge with
Rune of Swordshattering until you can get
Rune of Stoneskin Gargoyle at lvl 72.
As soon as you hit lvl 75, get
De-Raged Waraxe, again, easily obtainable by quest. Runeforge with
Rune of Stoneskin Gargoyle.
Runeforging all goes down to preference, but IMO Stoneskin Gargoyle is better.
If you can get a better weapon with higher dmg or hit, expertise, cool. But if not, just hit heroics and get any weapon with higher dmg, hit, expertise, stam on it.

@Lynri
Dude, you seriously need to relax a little bit.
After reading some post I thought you were well-informed in the class DKs, but I guess no person is perfect.
Opinionated and false. It's been shown those who use DW tanking have higher avoidance in general and tend to hit defense cap easier then 2h due to itemization. The problem with DW is parry-glibing. What would be happening is the attacks parried since you're attacking more frequently and with 2 weapons is it hastens the bosses next swing after parry (depending on where boss is situated in swing timer when parry occurs)
Higher avoidance? of course, do you think I AM stupid or somethin'? geez...I'm not just talking about how hard you can get hit and survive longer, I'm talking about staying alive and holding aggro issue.
What I was trying to say is, Dual Wielding, if I'm not mistaken, has the penalty of -19% hit chance. Which means you will also have to worry about getting soft hit cap along with def cap and stam.
For instance if you wanted to duel wield tank, some very easy weapons to get that proves Sky utterly wrong would be:
Teldrassil Protector x2 as it's one-hand and not unique. (Using it x2 gives 48 parry rating + 80 defense rating, this does not count the 2% parry enchants you'd add to them)
Red Sword of Courage it's unique and main hand but has a decent top end (though I would personally go with Teld Prot axes x2) and hit rating which is crucial. It's from Heroic Utgarde Pinnacle which could be an issue.
There's several others but the one that really strikes me as DK DW tanking weapon of all time currently is Broken Promise. Defense + Expertise makes Parry-glibing less likely and the top end/speed are perfect for a DK tank.
I won't cover this part as I am also aware of 1-hander tanking weapons.
I don't personally advocate DK DW tanking but if you must, go for it I can't stop you :)Ooooooook......Care to explain why you don't advocate DW tanking? Or is it the same reason why I said 'DW tanking is stupid'.
the reason you may be able to find them on stickes.
So all stickies are stupid? Please do everyone who posts here to help others like myself a favor by refraining from posting here again. Seriously, we created those stickies to help people like you who don't know what they're doing to do better. If that's an issue find another place to be.
I don't even know what you're trying to say here. All I can say is learn to comprehend other people's post. Or are you upset because you thought the word 'stupid' is kind of a strong word.
Runeforging all goes down to preference
Comes down to gear/itemization. Overall for 2hs you'll need Stoneskin due to the lack of Defense stat on almost any 2h. There's currently only one 2h in the game with + Defense on it and it's a quested green which brings me to the next quote.
There are no what you can call 'tanking weapon for DK' before Naxx I believe
You belief is incorrect. There's currently quite a few tanking 2hs outside Naxx. The most pointedly being the ones with Expertise - Parry or Defense on them. As it stands I can currently think of several, one of which I actually personally used for my tank offspec until I picked up Demise on an offspec roll. These weapons being:
There you go again. What's up with all the anger? Had a bad day or something? Stop trying to bite my head off.
There's currently only one 2h in the game with + Defense on it and it's a quested green which brings me to the next quote.
If I may follow your reaction, tackling every word I say, you are so wrong. Any two-hander green with 'of the Champion' on it has defense rating on it. Wowhead shows 'of the Champion' having 32 defense rating, but mine had 33.
I've been using one til Violet Hold. But comparing TPS and 33 defense rating? I figured, it just wasn't worth carrying it in your bag, not because of the bag space mind you.
Most player will be using
Axe of Frozen Death when they hit Northred and will be using
De-raged Waraxe when they hit 75. Find something in common? They're both axe. If you happen to have to axe weapon with defense on it, good for you. If not? It means you have to lvl up your expertise everytime you lvl. Again, just not worth it.
Earthwarden- If you're willing to rep up Cenarion. It's not a huge issue with the plant hand in quest in Zangarmarsh + the rep hand in.
Only issue is grinding Heroic Coilfang instances for Revered to Exalted. (something like 6 runs of SV or whatnot)
Oook. But again TPS. Not worth it.
When I lvled up my Tank DK (currently 79), I just improvised with what I got. Luckly with my other toons I was able to get head piece with def, wrist piece with def, weapon piece with def, and some other parts with def I can remember for sure. Quest reward from Nexus and UK will give you a nice upgrade, and along with all the other instance, Azjol, Ahnkahet, they all have quest rewards or drops suitable for tanking.
That said, I would rather get the cobalt set crafted than rep up Cenarion and spend gold on the mace you linked.
Axe of Bloodstained Ice- Ironically the only lvl 78-80 2h with +Defense on it, easily quested so it's a great starting one to get Defense Cap. ~535 for heroic, ~540 for raid.
This is the only part I agree with you. Nice weapon. I didn't know about this weapon, as I haven't done any quest in Icecrown besides one involving opening up KotEB faction. If you finish every quest in Borean Tundra, Howling Hjord, Grizzly Hills, Zul'drak, you're lvl just skyrockets so you don't really have time to do most quests in Sholazar Basin, Icecrown, Storm Peak, other than one involving opening faction.
Vile's Uglystick- Great for the high avoidance it gives
There's are the three that come off the top of my head personally. I used Bloodstained Ice on my DK, had Earthwaden back in BC on druid and Vile's was something I laughed hard about and I still remember it :) Good luck.
High avoidance is fine, but like in your case, you didn't use this weapon over Bloodstained Ice. I wonder why?
I might have get carried off a little bit. Sorry if anything I said offended you or anything.

http://www.tankspot.com/forums/f97/41986-cider-s-easy-540-defense-gear-guide.htmlscroll down till you hit weapons... first non heroic tank weapon is Crescent of Brooding Fury.. like I said pre @#$%ing contest above.
Am I the only person that wants this whole flaming come to stop?
And that pre @#$%ing constest, whatever you said on the *beep* part, was all about why
DK 2-hander tanking > DK DW tanking
If you want to gimp your full potential fine.
Every Man for Himself. It's your money, it's your playtime, it's your raid or party.
edit: Holy~ when did human racial got buffed? I thought the cooldown was 3 min, without breaking stun or whatever. Now this totally replaces trinket slot. I haaaate humans~!$##@%
