Ok, so I wan't to buy a new computer. I don't exactly know that much about hardware. What I do know is that I want to be able to do 25mans on max settings with great FPS. I would find a computer on my own...But I don't know what computer would be able to deliver what I need.
So my question is can anyone link me a PC that can run on max and under 2000$
Right now I'm looking at
http://www.dell.com/content/products/resultscompare.aspx/?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&~oe=true&prods=us~en~29~alienware-aurora-alx-anav-1~~
I'm pretty sure this can do what I want...But I would like to KNOW if it can.

You should check out your local computer shop (not a big buisness like best buy, a smaller one who would help you more), those guys will be able to help you much more in person.
The computer your looking at would run wow max setting i'm sure, but I would defently suggest going to talk to some computer guys in person, it will help you a lot.

You're probably better asking on a forum dedicated to this kind of thing.
www.tomshardware.com
is supposed to be good.

that's more than you would need, but would def last a long time.
I have no probs with mine. 60 fps in windowed mode.
Intel Quad core Q6600
ATI 2600xt with 512mb (I think, this is from memory as i'm at work)
4 gb ram
500 gb hdd
thats the basis anyway. you'd be able to get that now days for under $1k... I got it in feb 08 for 1300 (with 22'' monitor and such).
Wow isn't a cpu hog. you won't NEED top of the line, but if you can afford top of the line, knock yourself out.

If you're going to pick out Alienware you definitely need help with this one.
http://etccomputer.ca/eShop/default.asp?selection=system&systemid=6107
$497.00 (CAD)
And it will run your 25-mans at max settings, well, maybe not Shadows 4 but if you're tacking on another couple hundred just to get prettier shadows you shouldn't be spending your money on a computer...
If you're really worried, up the video card to a 1g and make it a quad core over the triple.

Thanks for the responses. Now that I have a general idea of what it takes to run wow on max settings I'm going to scope out some computers and see if I can get a better deal from a local shop.
Thanks alot
