Ambush: The tooltip on this ability will now update properly from talents which increase its damage by a percentage.
Backstab: The tooltip on this ability will now update properly from talents which increase its damage by a percentage.
Deadly Poison: Another rogue using a higher rank of this poison will no longer prevent the lower rank Deadly Poison from being applied to the target.
Eviscerate: The tooltip on this ability will now update properly from talents which increase its damage by a percentage.
Glyph of Rupture: Now updates the duration on Rupture's tooltip.
Killing Spree: Entering a vehicle will now cause this ability to halt, and attempting to use it while on a vehicle will result in an error message.
Mutilate: The tooltip on this ability will now update properly from talents which increase its damage by a percentage.
In addition, the damage from this ability can now be blocked.
Sinister Strike: The tooltip on this ability will now update properly from talents which increase its damage by a percentage.
Slice and Dice: Improved Slice and Dice and Glyph of Slice and Dice now update the duration of this ability.
Throwing Specialization: Deadly Throw will no longer cause multiple spell interruption combat log entries when used with this talent.

Do protection specced PvPers actually NEED to be able to block this? If it were an issue, I could see why they would change it, but, we all know a rogue trying to kill a prot pally or prot warrior (or even a druid) gives us the urge to stab ourselves in the eyeballs with a rusty spoon.
Ever since hitting 80 I have realized how much of a PITA it is to kill prot specced pallies and warriors on my rogue. Between their AoEs to keep you out of stealth, their snares, and incredible damage from shield slam, might as well not even attempt it anymore.

No, we're outraged that an ability is being nerfed against a spec that generally kills rogues to begin with. It's like saying, 'You know, I don't think rogues are having enough trouble killing prot specs, let's make it impossible!' Blizz has already stated they don't want an "anticlass", but they keep proving that they do. Plate is an anti class to rogues even without a shield.

I did. That is my exact spec. The problem is, they cc me a ton with their snares and charges that I am a sitting duck and the fact that deadly takes so long to apply that I am dead by the time I get even 3-4 stacks up.
How you all open? Do you cheap shot, shiv, shiv, shiv, envenom, then vanish to re-open?

Not to mention Deadly breaks Gouge and Blind and Vanish is still ^&*!ed up.
Exactly...with their AoEs, intimidating shout, and bleeds, it's a gamble to vanish and re-open. It's annoying enough that you can't vanish for more than a second against a warrior. You can be knocked out within the GCD

Whining about this is stupid. You're seeing this as a nerf to rogues, when it is actually a
bug fix
. You say yourself you already struggle against protection specs. What difference is there between "getting owned" and "getting owned slightly harder"? If there's an imbalance in pvp right now (no, I did not write that with a straight face) they should address it. They should NOT leave bugged abilities bugged because it's more convenient for you.

Fair enough. Would just be nice to actually feel that we actually did a little something to them though. lol As already stated, we already have an issue with vanish though, why fix one bug and not another? Oh, because everyone hates rogues.
So let's talk about how we all deal with prot specs then. You all know I am a new 80 rogue and am still working on gear, but coming frmo the other end of the spectrum (Have an 80 pally), I rarely ever have issues with rogues in ret or prot spec. I have a slight advantage of having a pally, but not a warrior, so I don't know what's really annoying to to do them. For a prot pally, it's just kiting the crap out of them and forcing them to go oom. When they use a CD, like divine plea or any other CD, get away so they can't hit you and refresh their DP. For a prot warrior, it's not that easy.

Even now, you mutilate them for 1.5k double and they shield slam you for 3 - 4k or revenge stun you for 3k. You wont outlast their cooldowns, or get close to going through their 35k+ hp, and if its a prot pally you have to dps through autoshieldwall when they would die, after bubble, after lay on hands, and after going through what would then be like 150k hp, they get argent defender. Its pointless.
It isnt as bad with feral druids or tank dks, but its still a pretty much impossible fight.
But rogues right now are extremely weak against any top tier opponent, and any class can reliably beat a rogue of any skill 1 v 1. Good thing wow isnt balanced around 1 v 1.

Yup, when I go into an AV with my prot pally, I am sitting at 46k health and only time I have ever had a rogue beat me was when he had 5 friends with him. I already block, dodge and parry about 80% of his white hits, now i am going to block 50% of his Mutiliates now too, AND do holy damage back to him, farther increasing my damage to him.
