* Transporter devices are no longer classified as trinkets and can be used directly from your inventory.

I am TOO HAPPY OMFG WTF BBQ ETC W/E ! + !
I hope alarm-o-bot change is that it will increase stealth detection!

oki, so let me get this strait, BS doesn't get any upgrade, they just allow us to use smthing from another profession in our already existing socket....is it only me that feel once more screwed by Blizz ?
Blizz is having to rebalance ALL professions in order to adjust for the upcoming epic gems. In order to keep JC viable as a profession above the epic gems, they're boosting the values from Dragon's Eye cuts. In order to balance the other professions compared to JC, they're boosting the benefits (increased stam, crit, AP, etc).
Now look at the extra sockets from blacksmithing - you get to put the epic gems in the sockets - this is
perfectly
balanced compared to how things are now. Stop QQing because it'll cost you an extra bit of gold when the patch hits in 6 months.

So well said Zxian... some people are just too stupid to figure out the obvious.

Ok, you may feel as if it's balanced, I don't. All the profession get smthing new, BS don't. Is that too complicated to understand ? I mean I don't really care what it is, it's not about the bonus, I want smthing new man. You think it's ok to give alll the other profession smthing new, but BS can go !@#$ themselve ?
Let's compare the enchanting bonuses to Blacksmithing bonuses, as an example. Let's assume that the epic Attack Power gems will be 40AP, up from the current 32 AP from Bright Scarlet Rubies (an equal jump from the 24AP of Bright Bloodstones).
Enchanting bonuses - 40AP to two rings = 80AP
Blacksmithing bonuses - 40AP from two extra sockets = 80AP
They're the same. Just because it's not "new and shiny and different" doesn't mean it's better or worse. You want three sockets to make it "better"? You've just unbalanced every single profession in favor of Blacksmithing. Gratz.
Honestly - stop complaining over nothing.

to do it simple
what prof can get 2 more sockets?none good, next step
better epic gems! where can you put them in? in the 2 extra sockets good good.
do we need to pay littel gold? who care! go do dailys lazy bum! even come more come in that patch
go do mining hell with ore (like 100 stacks and moree) and when patch hit get a trustworthy(or alt Jc) to start to prospect for a hour
next step
?(dont care if other people do as already got 500 stack's...its awesoem to have kid brothers ..who love to just fly around and mine.)
profit + buy your self a golden crown or something else with that amount of money (best moneymaker is the patch changes , like mass make banish glyph that got changed to inc glyph ..money money)

Smiths are still the only crafting profession that relies on another crafting profession to get its bonus. Paying money for epic gems as soon as they come out will be ridiculously expensive, and time consuming, where as all the other crafting professions get their bonus immediately, and without cost. Furthermore, most other crafting positions allow you to bypass the cost of enchanting said item. Take Fur Lining for example, your get 114 Attck Pwr on your bracers instead of 50 from an enchant and the standard 64 from Prof bonus.
So the JC's who have to spend day after day after day to get the patterns to cut your epic gems don't have it hard? Ever thought about the fact that the effective cost of a single JC pattern is 250-300g? (Think three dragon's eyes not sold on the AH.)
By the time 3.2 actually comes out, I'll probably have saved up about 40-50 tokens just to be able to buy all the new patterns when they're first released.

It does not cost you 300g for a recipe, it costs you 2 minutes of your time for 3 days where you get a dragons eye and 6g+, the fact that you can sell those dragons eyes is merely just a massive bonus for you. There is no cost associated with your dragons eye except your time, and no other daily is as lucrative as yours. You have no sympathy here.
Someone failed at basic economics
. The opportunity cost of each and every JC pattern that we buy is the equivalent value of the Dragon's Eyes we could have bought (and then sold) with the Dalaran Jewelers Tokens (which is the actual item we get from our dailies). So yes, on some servers, this works out to roughly 300g of lost profit. The only other profession that has patterns that are nearly as expensive is enchanting, since 10 Dream Shards still isn't "cheap" by any means. (At least not on my server)
People who say that the JC daily only takes "two minutes" need to actually roll a JC and stop second-guessing. The problem is that it's a
daily
. Not an infinitely repeatable quest. How many days do I need to work for to get my next pattern? At least 3. Name one other profession that MUST wait and grind for days/weeks/months in order to gather every pattern. There is none.
Level your blacksmithing up, pay the trainer - tada, every BS pattern.
Buy a bunch of leather off the AH - tada, every LW pattern.
Buy a bunch of Dream Shards off the AH - tada, every enchanting pattern.
Etc, etc, etc.
Now add to the mix that every other profession does
not
need to buy new patterns with tokens only available through a daily. Before 3.2 hits, you needed to do over half a year's worth of dailies in order to get every pattern. Now it will only be longer.
If you're so bitter about JC being a "cash-cow", why not roll one yourself?

(...) the days of JC tokens being worth 100g will end the day the new emblem system hits, no one is gonna pay 500-900g or so for a JC neck or Ring when they can just do 2 or 3 heroics and get a lvl 226 neck or 213 ring.
which BTW Im a little bit worried about...
unless the patch is not gonna go live before let say end of september...

Name another profession that MUST wait and grind for days/weeks/months in order to gather every pattern? It's called Inscription. but inscription gets no easy daily and 100g token which can be sold or used for more patterns, no inscription has to actually pay substantial mats day after day to learn their craft.
Inscription also has the added benefit that most of the glyphs you've found through research or the books will easily pay for themselves in one or two crafts (and successive sales on the AH). My glyph of Howling Blast? I paid 90g for it. How much did the mats cost? 10g maybe? That's a fancy 80g profit that you can make very easily (and it's a well sought after Glyph for any Frost DK tank).
Glyphs also move like butter on the AH. I'm not sure about your server, but on mine they're always moving through. I've got at least two paladins in my guild who will respec their non-main spec to whatever we need them to be for that raid run. That involves the respeccing cost, as well as purchasing new glyphs. I've switched my DPS spec on my DK from Blood to Unholy and back again, again, switching out Glyphs.
I've got my Blacksmithing and Jewelcrafting professions macroed to spam trade together. I'd say that the business on both professions is about equal, and if anything, I get tipped more for Titansteel crafts than I do for any JC cut I've made to date (tips of 50-100g for Blacksmithing are not unheard of).
Flasks are always going to be in demand as long as people keep raiding. Enchanting is also going to be required for people with upgrades. JC is not the only profession with constant business - not by a long shot.
