tried that, if i right click, it will cast on my target, however if i left click it will do nothing :(
i will try the macro forum and see if they can help :)
My friend has the same problem.
Just change "target=self" into "target=<yourname>". That works >_>

Even though I do not approve of this ungodly abomination of clickiness, I will tell you what your problem really is.
"target=self" is not a valid command
What you are looking for is "target=
player
". This is for setting yourself as the target of the spell in question.
Still I stress,
don't be a clicker
. Especially not if you're a healer. A single second can be the difference between success and wipe. Time spent moving the mouse to get a new target, clicking the target, then moving it again to the spell and clicking the spell is wasted time.
Use of mouseover with easily reachable keybinds will allow you the speed needed to heal in the most intense situations.

I'm so good with macro's that I wonder why I got so many working. ><
And that is really the worse case of clicking that you are description. ^^
A lot of healers are clickers but then with mods like clique and healbot, but thats a different story.

help and exists are redundant as help checks for existance
nodead is also redundant because PS will not cast itself on a dead player
There, I just saved you 15% on your car insurance...I mean macro space

Fair enough. I still use mine via mouseover though I'm thinking of dropping PS altogether. It's so situational and sometimes you just can't predict when it's going to be needed.
I think it's a great talent for PvP but I'm all but done using it in PvE.

I agree with you on this. There are cases where PS is ok, but honestly, when you dps is breathing down the neck of your tanks threat, it can easily mean a wipe (it certainly has happened to me).
A 40% damage reduction is rad, but if a tank is at 5% hp, even that one hit of -40% damage will probably end things.
I've stopped using it altogether for pve in favor of other spells, depending on what CDs are up. I rarely have issues where I feel it would have actually saved the day.
If they removed the threat part of PS, I could it being very handy for throwing on the tank every 2.X mins, though. That would certainly be nice.

Just respecced to invest in something I use WAY more often than Pain Suppression. I went 3/3 Absolution. Heaven knows I'm usually the only one dispelling, and with a Mass Dispel at 0.43 seconds, how could I not use it?

And 5% threat loss are nothing, a good tank should well ahead of the first DPS as long as a rogue will use tricks of the trade, hunter misdirect, etc. to compensate for the threat loss. Even without it those 5% should never be a problem unless the tank is undergeared compared to the DPS classes.
Our dps is leet, and it is an issue. Even with MDs, it's still not enough. And our tank is very well geared.
