As i suspected.
First heroic of the day and every item that dropped from the bosses were "Needed for offspec" The frequency of ninja's will definitely increase...1 in 20 heroics at most for me....I'm guessing it'll be about 6 in 10 heroics now though. /sigh
Sounds more like just play on whinny QQ to me. Simply run it again when the instance resets. And of course, to the OP, who gives a rat? quit whining.

While you may think it's completely fine to act with self-entitlement just because it's a game, I and many like me do not agree. I won't need on gear which does not fit my purpose in a dungeon if someone needs it for their main-spec. I don't see any reason as to why I should take the item when someone else has much more use for it. Most of the time I'll run by the rule
need for current spec
.
But I'll make clear that I run by those standards when joining or forming my own group. Those who doesn't agree can leave the group, as I will if the rest of the group disagrees with me. That way people can't argue after entering the dungeon, simply because everyone agreed to specific rules.

Perhaps you missed the point, which was of course to the OP to quit whining. I as well do not need on items I do not need, nor do I need or offspec items when someone else needs it for their main.

1) When/if you use dual spec in the middle of a raid (A healer/tank drops out) then you are allowed to roll on ONLY the gear you're specced for.
Yes
2) You CANNOT under any circumstances take priority for an item if it isn't your MAIN spec. No "But I was just going DPS for this boss..." doesn't work like that.
Yes
3) You have to announce that you're changing spec and get the OK from your group.
Probably best to anyway
4) The raid leader must speak perfect English and not use the words "plz" "wtf" or "noob"
huh? wtf noob, i wanna use digispeak plzzzz?
;)

Simple rules. If you are a warrior tank, everyone who can have a tank specc can roll on your tank loot, but you can absolutely not roll on dps loot. If you are a tank you can never roll on pvp loot, pvp loot is everything from voa and essence of gossamer.
In voa btw, you are not allowed to roll on anything if you are tanking, since its dps loot and pvp loot.
If you are a ret paladin (even if you have 2*ret speccs, all rets should have 2*ret speccs) you can roll on every item in the game, except maybe staffs if you dont want for de/vendor.
