He's trying to do it this way:
4000 / 0.75 =5333
For a 75%
bonus
he should be doing:
4000 * 1.75 = 7000
If you wanted to divide for the same number you'd want to use:
4000 / .57142 = ~7000
Which is obviously not a number you had in front of you when you did the math Druidrocks so you did in fact do it incorrectly.
i dont understand how having bonuses to a spell would make it less effective... please do explain how a 100 spell would go down to a 75 spell with a 75% boost?
You take the 3k and add it back to the original number to find the final product. The 3k in this case is how much the increase equates too.
4000 * .75 = 3000
4000 + 3000 = 7000
