Killahbabe is correct. Near the Hunter trainers in any of the major cities should be pet trainers. They will teach you the generic abilities that all pets can use, such as
Growl
and
Great Stamina
.
Although, some abilities have to be learned from pets in the wild. You will have to put your current pet into the stable, and tame these other pets to learn these abilities. Some of these are can be taught to many different families of pets; for example
Claw
and
Dash
.
Most families have a specific ability only useable to pets of that family. You have a Nightstalker, part of the cat family, which can learn
Prowl
. This is very useful, especially with Night Elf Hunters due to your Shadowmeld ability. Easily stealth yourself and pet from hostile eyes.
