It is not worth it to camp for a rare spawn pet, unless you really want it for looks. All pets were normalized a while back to a 2.0 attack speed, so the only differences now are looks, and abilities.
That build is horrible in my opinion, if you're going for DPS 41/20 is king at the moment, MM is slightly better for PvP by some people's standards, and Survival is good for buffing the raid, and trapping.
At your level your UI and macros won't really matter. Once you get to 62 you may want to look into a shot rotation macro, but before then they're pretty useless. As for your UI, it really makes no difference what you choose, just use something you like.

What I'm using on my hunter. Works like a charm for soloing.
What comes to mods, the first one that comes to mind is LittleTrouble (
http://files.wowace.com/LittleTrouble/LittleTrouble.zip
). It adds a castbar for auto-shot, which can be really useful when timing your shots. And believe me, if you're ever going to raid, you'll need to do that. But don't worry about it too much for now.

http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=cVbh0xxoZVVmoVzZchhGx
so far i have no Ui's and im lookin for some good ones that will help for a hunter ive got 1 macro atm lol /Cast Hunter's Mark /petattack /startattack
maybe some more would help but if you can help with any info such as with ui's pets' macros and specs please help because so far im top on dps prolly pretty easy for a hunter but doing bad as a hunter. i now i need to learn how to kite but the question is use freezing trap or frost and thats all i know what to do lol.. so please help and i hope i made this clear xD
If you level as BM, then put all your current talent points into BM, focus on improving your pet at lower levels as thats your personal tank for now.
I have Humar just because I like his look, nothing else special about him.
If you make a macro to cast Hunter's Mark and send your pet to attack, do not add in the auto shot cast for yourself.
Go to

and read up on some of his information, it has some good stuff you can find out there without all the BLizzard forum drama.

Talents
The problem I see with most of those builds is the Imp. Revive Pet; Perhaps it's just my playstyle but I don't let my pet die. From 45->57 I've only allowed my pet to die 2 times, and both were intentional sacrifices(to collect quest items from the ground), so really those are wasted points in my opinion. I go for a bigger offensive build. I messed up my own build a bit(I put points into the dodge talent) but here's what I see as a good build:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=cxbh0xgRquVoVxbRV
Basically all of the talents are Offensive except for
Spirit Bond
and
Thick Hide
. With those two, your pets natural regeneration and an occasional 1-below-current-rank Mend Pet, your pet really shouldn't be dying on any accident.
In the Marksman line,
Efficiency
and
Improved Hunter's Mark
are both interchangable I suppose. I went for Hunter's Mark as it boosts my pet's DPS a bit, and it'll help out when partied with Melee characters. As a Blood Elf, Arcane Torrent helps out with the mana costs.
Interface
I don't use any Hunter-specific mods, but some general mods I use that are nice:
XPerl(For Unit frames which has nice big shiny icons for debuffs with timers on it), OmniCC(To show cooldowns on your abilities, shows right on your icons), CT_Mod(It has a ton of general improvements, including new movable/customizable action bars), Enemy Casting Bars(I actually use it for seeing other peoples' cooldowns on things)
Macros
I don't bother with macros, I just have some very helpful keybinds.

Pet
I use cats, as they can have Bite and Claw, as most pet types only have one or the other. Wolves are also a viable candidate if you like to see high numbers every once in a while(With their wolf-only skill). Camping a special pet is a waste of time, as they're not any more stronger than their regular counterparts.

Raptors can have both bite and claw as well and with Dash that they have now I would say it is better than the cats (even though Cats have Dash too). Cats have prowl which I would say would be better for PVP but for PVE I would say Raptor. Its all dependant on what you like really. Cats have a little higher Health than Raptors but Raptors have a little more armor. Also if you invest in a DPS pet you should also want to get the Cobra Reflexes training to further increase threat onto the mob. As a MM with high DPS I often over aggro my Raptor with auto growl.
