So the glyph Seal of blood will be gone to that means good by to are mana.
I've never glyphed SoB/M and I've NEVER had mana issues. If you somehow have mana issues as a Retadin, URDOINITWORNG.
It seems to me the two seals are close to identical in damage, they just do it differently. SoC will proc on every swing. So will SoV, but only after you stack the debuffs.
I'd say SoC will be the PvP seal -- you usually won't have enough time to get so many stacks of a debuff. I'd even say it's still better in PvE on trash pulls. SoV will be better on longer-lasting pulls.
But that's just how I'm picturing it. I'm not sure what the actual math is on the damage, but it seems SoV will do more damage once you have the full stack, especially with plenty of crit.
EDIT: By the by -- the glyph for SoC got changed to do the mana-return. :P

i think its too early to say which seal will be best, it must prove some measures, so until then we can until imagine what will be good
seal of vengeance is used to tanking, so tanks will have more threat and dps, which is nice
soc i dont know if it will be better then seal of blood, maybe in pvp, but in pve i think blood will be better

I don't know if you've heard, but there won't be a Seal of Blood/Martyr come 3.2. Hence, you know... why we're talking about "the new PvE Ret Seal."
SoC in all cases except when you'll have time to get a full stack of SoC/V on a target is what I'm thinking.

I just think it's cool that insted of getting Nerfed, we are going to be dealing MORE damage on boss fights! I use SoC anyway when running around, and only used SotM when in instances - but sometimes the self infliction is a pain to manage if the healz is'nt on their toes. instant FoL helps, but this will be Great...

Woah hold on thats why to much mana regain. Blizzard will be hotfixing that for sure a week after the patch.
It's just the way blizzard do it. ^^ First hotfix i'm calling it on mana regain. TO OP.
This is why I'm still pretty sure they're going to get rid of the Exorcism cooldown. With AoW proc'ing instant Exo's, we'll be spamming it quite a bit -- meaning much more mana usage, and therefore a need for that extra few percent.

My guess, is PTR dps will be close to rogues, and ret will be nerfed before it goes live because of it. Possibly removing Seals of the Pure.

Not to mention, I doubt you will be using command on bosses anyway, which is where Real dps is figured (for raids). I dont know anyone who really tracks trash dps... so the New seal will do Substantially more damage, and the weapon speed Really wont matter because boss fights are longer fights. 2x crit mod is Sick.
I think the "Big" change is that we are going to have to revert back to Seal Dancing like we used to a while back.
I think this might even make it more exciting... jsut remember to keep a few 100 stacks of symbols around... =)
in short - i think fro some solo running and non bosses, we might be reduced a bit in dps, btu in Raids and Bosses, we will go up. I like this idea.
