At 532 Defense
Skill
you would need about 40 more Defense
Rating
to hit 540 Defense
Skill
.
I would try to get the BS crafted
Tempered Saronite Belt
to replace that horrible green belt or
Daunting Handguards
to replace your gloves and you should be set. Also get some more enchants on your gear, specifically your bracers and legs. That should boost your health a bit to hopefully around 25k unbuffed.
You should be ok to tank 10 Naxx, though you'd want to boost your health and avoidance up as soon as you can from gear. Run OS and Vault each week and hope paladin tanking gear drops too.

Block isn't avoidance, it's mitigation.
If you're looking for the block cap you should add those number together.

Try this spec on for size see how you like it. Now I am still messing around with the spec. but this seems to work for heroics and I have seen a few naxx tanks with it.

Your spec is WAY wrong man...
No combat expertise? I hope you're kidding right?

Grr, sorry but it irks me when people post weird specs like that one... and the spec you are currently using is just as sub-par as the one advised to you.
Being stubborn is fine if you are doing something which won't affect others, but using a sub-par spec, knowing it is and not doing anything about it is probably going to irk people who you raid with, especialy if they begin to pull threat off you...
SotP is not a very good threat talent, and you skipped Touhed by the light - thats not stubborn, thats just plain silly. same deal with reckoning which is not as good for threat as Crusade (which is possible to get with a better built tanking build). You also skipped JotJ, unless you are 100% sure there is another class you're raiding with who will apply that 20% debuff you are definately making life harder for your healers.
Quest neatly summarises this in his guide and there is maths to back it up somewhere...
" Basic prot spec advice:
- SotP sucks.
- Reckoning is worse than SotP. (for threat generation)
- PoJ is worth 7% run-speed and ~85 health. Tuskarr | Fort
- Judgements of the Just is %16.5 melee avoidance @ 2/2. 9.1% @ 1/2."
And you don't need to be at 553 defence, its best to get to 540 then ride as close to that as possible and just bump up your Hp providing you can stay block capped.
Run HoL normal for the trinket off loken:
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=36993
and go to AN Heroic, the second boss drops this:
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=37220
. This will bump up your Hp and allow you to rack up stam gems in your gear; the trink from HoL gives a huge amount of def rating.
Sorry if this is all sounding mean, up to you if you choose to listen - HF tanking Naxx if you get a grp tho' :)

Thanks for catching that did it in a hurry and forgot to double check it...
figured I had 3 extra points for some reason... Guess I should have double checked to make sure I had it correct
Here is the corrected spec
http://www.wowarmory.com/talent-calc.xml?cid=2&tal=000000000000000000000000005500503500310232133331232155230000000000000000000000
i'm relatively new to pally tanking as well, but a couple questions..
1st - I was under the impression that Divinity was damn near worthless as a talent?
2nd - I have never seen a pally tank that DIDN'T take Divine sacrifice/divine guardian?
3rd - I was also under the impression that 1/2 Imp. Judgements was the standard?
4th - Isn't 1/2 spiritual attunement also the standard?
i'm very curious cause when I get my pally to 80, I want to be able to have the best spec possible, and i'm seeing a lot of little variations here and there, even amongst wowhead's contributors..

Okay fair enough bmsweeny, i'll go through your spec and just point out the holes in it.
- 1/2 SA is all that is needed
- 5/5 benediction is 5 wasted points (well less wasted, more 'not very well spent')
These two are because you shouldn't have any mana issues at all, between constant DP, Mana returns off BoSanc and JoW, healing from 1/2 SA its actually hard to make yourself go oom.
- Divinity results in (mostly) overhealing so there are better places to put those talent points too
As a result of those 'misplaced' talent points you can't pick up PoJ which is a nice movement speed boost, divine sacrifice+divine guardian for when you aren't MT'ing.
And i don't actually have any TPS problems, but why not up your raid utility and TPS, it won't make you a worse off tank at all, infact most DPS will relish the fact you have higher TPS, no need to help out with MD/
http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=57934
or for people to hold out for even the first few secs or use FD or whatever else. Unless you can guarentee you're not going to be running with people who are better geared than you and thus pulling higher DPS (and thus tps) than you are used to then why not take it. You sacrifice nothing useful and gain a bigger threat ceiling for your DPS'ers. Besides that you'll also do a bit more damage, and every little helps.
Here is a spec i'd suggest then seeings you asked for one;
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#sZV0tAbuMusIufdxf0hbc
You can move 1 out of imp judgements and put in in Benediction or imp BoM if you like, and take the 2 out of PoJ for more in conviction if you'd prefer. If you can guarentee you'll be MT'ing every single pull/boss then you can go grab 3/5 divinity > Divine Sacrifice + Divine Guardian, as its the 'best' filler talent availible.
Its not that your spec is wrong as such, its just not optimal.
Edit: spelling

Did some more research and tried a few things.
I Like your spec and I am thinking about trying it out by tanking a few instances but with a few changes. my guild runs with 2 healers for 10 man and 3-4 mostly 3 for 25 man so our two MTs a Paladin and DK. Because we like to test our selves and take a raid as a challenge. The power Divinity would give me more survivability as even if I get hit HARD our healers will be able to control the situation.
SO I with that being said I think I may go with this varieation. plus I dont like care for PoJ
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#sZA0xA0uMGsIufdxfMh0M
i'm pretty sure the suggestion is to skip PoJ and get tuskarr's str on your boots instead anyway (unless i'm mis-reading)
just out of curiosity.. .isn't vindication a worthless raiding talent anyway? it doesn't work against raid bosses, and from what i've been told, it's not even highly effective against raid mobs to begin with.
someone correct me if i'm wrong here?
