Heh, Night of the Dragon = Twilight Flight, but they havent done much with them lol. And the manga about Tharassian is prob going to be about his early life/death. But yeah they op'ed Varian in the comics.......too bad they didnt ingame lol. But I am really looking forward to Stormrage, course with a name like that it could be about Illidan as well.....heh but prob not.

I think that logical evidence that has been recently coming up is that the next expansion would be Mael'storm, however you spell it. That's just my 2 cents.

People have been saying that the Dream might be a major content patch like Sunwell was so technically they could make the Maelstorm then have the Dream in it as the patch....but after that all would be left is Turyalon and Alleria stuck on some unknown world and the final battle against Kil'Jaeden and Sargaras.

Well, the dream, according to the lore we know, covers Azeroth (the whole planet) several times over. One is its actual reflection, the others early prototypes of the world, some incomplete (now wouldn't that be a fine excuse for bugged terrain and bad textures :D).
That is a little too much content for a "content patch" and if they do decide to feature the dream it will have to be severely handicapped - I would definitely not like it to be implemented that way.

Oh Im hoping for a full expansion for it, dont get me wrong, just saying it is something that is floating around about the Dream.

Theres really only 2 more Old Gods to go, there were 5 on Azeroth orginally, and 1 is really dead (guy in darkshore with a sword in his head), C'Thun and Yogg are technically "Dead".

It says during the ordering of Azeroth, there were only 5 Old Gods here on the Warcraft planet. Not saying there arn't more, in fact one quest line in shadowmoon valley makes it seem like the Undead Arrokka are actually trying to summon something that looks like an Old God.
And the Old Gods commanded the Elemental Lords before the Titans showed up. They also messed with Neltharion's head and turned him into Deathwing with the whole Demon Soul thing, more then likely they reached through the mind and screwed over the Leader of the Dark Iron and had him summon their Lieutent Rhagnaro's back to Azeroth. Their evil tentacles have been responsible for a large number of the things going wrong over the centuries.
C'Thun created the Qiraj, Yogg has created Saronite. Like I said, only one that has stayed dead is the one in the Master's Glaive that was killed during the Ordering all those long years ago.

I personally hope its the Maelstrom, and I have a little section of my own ideas that I think could fit into it
here

What if it isn't dead? Notice all the others are imprisoned, C'thun 'fell' on the Temple and shaped the Quiraj to his liking, but he was still trapped in there. Now according to the lore I can remember the Titans could not kill the Old Gods, so they imprisoned them away. Now how does this work if they killed one?
What if killing the god's physical form and leaving the massive sword in its skull is its prison?
The wound is glowing, but when the other two died, did they glow? I think not.
What if the sword is keeping its spirit attached to the body. So it doesn't escape somewhere, like the emerald dream. Darkshore is close to Moonglade, which is probably the anchor point between Azeroth and the dream.
For the quests to rescue Bridanbrad from the plague you travel to the dream, to access there you sleep. The spirit leaves the body to enter the dream, and what ever happens to the spirit happens to the body.
So is it safe to assume this God was escaping into the dream by leaving its body behind, as the druids do now, but they anchored the spirit to the body, killing the body but not it's spirit?
Might explain the emerald dream corruption. He could be like Kael'thas,
"Don't worry, he's dead"
"Aha, I'm not dead. It 'twas merely a setback"
"Hmm, maybe not"
/end wall of text.

an old god cannot die, as an eternal never truly dies. Cthun and yogg body is destroyed but the old gods are more or less sleeping and trying to regain strenght. But it can take thousends of years, also i think you need to build a new body for them with the remains of their corperal forms.
Also isn't it so the glaive in that old god in darkshore, is put their by the titan bcs otherwise the old gods body would start regenerate. The glaive who is made by some titan metal keeps it dead. The body still have strenght which the mobs of twillight hammer at that location tries to harness:)
Old gods are really interesting to read about, here is a link for the ones who not read the wowwiki article:

I like this theory alot, sounds like a good way of explaining it :)

The only attention you attracted was of the "
another pseudo mad theory about the next expansion
" kind.

I found this on another thread. Its been debated on its authenticity many times (so I won't go there now) and most claim its an
early "loose" guideline
for where they plan to take the game and its expansions (seeing as Outlands and the Ghostlands are still referred to as Draenor and Quel'thalas, respectively).
Draenor Set
Azuremyst Isle - 1 to 10
Bloodmyrk Isle - 10 to 20
Eversong Forest - 1 to 10
Quel’thalas - 10 to 20
Hellfire Peninsula - 58 to 62
Zangarmarsh - 60 to 64
Terokkar Forest - 61 to 65
The Deadlands - 63 to 67
Nagrand - 64 to 68
Blade’s Edge Mountains - 66 to 70
Netherstorm - 67 to 70
Shadowmoon Valley - 69 to 70
Northrend Set
Borean Tundra - 67 to 70
Howling Fjord - 67 to 70
Dragonblight - 69 to 72
Grizzly Hills - 70 to 73
Crystalsong Forest - 72 to 75
Zul’drak - 73 to 76
Sholazar Basin - 75 to 79
Storm Peaks - 76 to 80
Icecrown Glacier - 78 to 80
Maelstrom Set
Gilneas - 77 to 80
Grim Batol - 78 to 81
Kul Tiras - 79 to 82
Kezan - 81 to 86
Tel Abim - 83 to 85
Zandalar - 84 to 87
Plunder Isle - 86 to 88
The Broken Isles - 87 to 90
The Maelstrom - 89 to 90
Plane Set
Pandaria - 1 to 10
Hiji - 10 to 20
Wolfenhold - 1 to 10
Xorothian Plains - 10 to 20
The Green Lands - 88 to 91
The Dying Paradise - 91 to 94
The Emerald Nightmare - 94 to 97
The Eye of Ysera - 97 to 100
Deephome - 88 to 91
Skywall - 91 to 94
The Abyssal Maw - 94 to 97
The Firelands - 97 to 100
Legion Set
K’aresh - 96 to 99
Argus Meadowlands - 97 to 100
Mac’Aree - 99 to 100
Maw of Oblivion - 100+
The Burning Citadel - 100+++
It appears the Maelstrom would be the next most likely expansion, with a "Planes" one to follow that would cover the Emerald Dream and other planes of existence I suppose.

Uh totem, that thing is like 2 years old. It's not a reference for anything lol. Sides the one thing makes no sense, why would the Abyssal Maw, the center of the Elemental Planes, lower level then Firelands.
