Where is the math people? I do not know how resil interacts with soul link damage or other mitigation effects . I do understan that stack multiplicatively. I would like to learn, so where can i find out? I tried looking on EJ.
How much does pet resil effect damage done by soul link?
Pets get 100% of our resil. I have ~1080 resil. Which is about 13% damage reduction.
So when my pet takes 1000 damage for soul link is that reduced to 870 damage?
If so, what is the over all % reduction of damage (that must be healed) that pet resil adds to warlock through soul link? - this may need better wording

i'm allergic to resilience on gear, makes me itchy, but it's the kind of thing that blighty might have covered in the
warlock tanking
post. have a look through that.

Thank you I will re-read blighty's work also.
Yet this is mostly for PvP.
You see a warlock with dead a pet will lead to a dead warlock.
The classic "switch" tactic used against warlocks is to attack the warlock until soul link damage brings the warlock's pet to around 50% HP then to quickly switch to the pet and kill the it.
I wish to know exactly how far a pet’s resil goes in preventing this. Numbers wise at least.
