Everyone starts somewhere. The links are in no order. Go through the list and find what you think you can get and go for it. Make sure you have a set of tank gear as you will probably have to tank to get most of this.

Helm: Overlord's Helmet of Second Sight or Doomplate Warhelm
Neck: Natasha's Choker or Bone Chain Necklace
Shoulders: Ragesteel Shoulders
Cloak: Cloak of the Inciter
Chest: Chestplate of A'dal
Bracers: Demolisher's Bracers
Hands: Gauntlets of Cruel Intention or Doomplate Gauntlets or Gauntlets of the Vanquisher (if you are scryer)
Waist: Deathforge Girdle
Legs: Legguards of the Shattered Hand or Doomplate Legguards or Bloodlord Legplates
Feet: Sha'tari Wrought Greaves or Obsidian Clodstompers or Bloodsworn Warboots
Trinkets: Hourglass of the Unraveller or Icon of Unyielding Courage or Abacus of Violent Odds

Weapons: Edge of the Cosmos x2 or Latro's Shifting Sword OH or Vindicator's Brand (if Aldor)

That's quite a list, Sandkat! I commend you on putting it together, =D

I was going to recommend searching the database & previous threads, but this post is going into my "Faves" for sure.

I do have one concern Sandkat:
Would you mind placing the URL tag around the links & filling in the item names?

Those are the best items for PvE. If you happen to get a few honor points from BGs you can also get gear from there. They are minor upgrages for the stats on the armor, but the PvP weapons are really nice to have if you don't have anything else.
If you are a weaponsmith, make fireguard or drakefist hammer and get the other weapon as a PvP weapon.
I used edge of the cosmos a while until I got the decapitator and the PvP OH sword.
