If only they also kept the T3 version of the raid as well as the T7 version.

It's up to you how you want to play this game. It's not in the majority, but there are Naxx guilds out there now. Even back in BC, when Sunwell was released TK guilds were still around. Just because the "best" gear comes from these new raids, doesn't mean the old ones are going to be completely ignored. You may ignore them, but other players may still be interested in them. And the weekly "X Must Die!" raid quest, will see to it that these older raids, DO see play. (And 3 of the weekly raid quests are Naxx bosses)
I am looking forward to this patch. The content, the lore, the epicness of the content... it's all looking amazing.
QQ about badges all you want, pure badge gear still takes weeks of farming for, and won't be as good as that of a raider.
It is what you make of it.

Im looking forward to the more and more ridicoulous demands on gear for trivial content. "LF Tank for naxx10! Link epic, and must have atleast 35k health unbuffed!" "Lf dps for os0drakes fast badgerun! must have over 5k dps!"
Id rather take in people who took a break when ulduar came in full t7-t7 1/2 gear with raid drops, than all these badge bufoons in 2p t9 2p t8,5.

I still go to naxx on guild runs all the time. They are mainly used for gearing alts though, but we still love the fights and the fun. Personally, I will still go to naxx even when ICC is out.

i haven't seen it mention yet, but people keep forgetting the new Weekly Raid quest. because of this quest, the older raids will not die. people will be running maly, naxx, and os every week (when appropriate) to complete this quest.
granted these runs might be cut a lot shorter to just complete the kill objective, but at least people will still be running them.
also, people still may run naxx to get badges, and i have often seen people doing now. you can get a LOT of badges from a naxx run, which if done properly doesn't take too much time.

The only people complaining are the ones that feel a need to flex their e-peen. "I'm cooler than you because my gear is higher ilvl. I am uber." If you didn't worry about e-peen, then it would be a non-issue for you.
Or the people who can no longer easily tell who is a moron and who isn't. If, with this new badge system, Blizzard introduced a kind of 'ability to walk and breath at the same time' score which would go down when, say, someone stood in a void zone or failed to
successfully move their character from one end of a room to another
on Heigan, then I would have no problem with this system, because I could still tell who is horrible quickly and easily.
True story: On a ten man naxx the tactics were explained as 'do not stand in the swirly pink circles' on KT. A rogue ate one. We yelled at him and he said 'well those were clearly red.'
I don't care if his gear is the same ilvl as mine because I need to see those pixels to know I'm better than him, but I do worry that I can no longer tell him apart from talented players with a quick wow-heroes/be.imba/armory check.

Like has been said, bads stay bad, goods stay good. As sombody who's on the same server for 3 years I happen to know most of those good guys anyway.

@Pezz:
I can usually tell the real idiots from the rest on imba/armory by just looking at their gem/enchant choices. Spell penetration = fail
