"Nah, not usually." Koran replied. "He had a rough time before this all started...someone he had been with for a while decided that she didn't want to be with him. Then our bosses sent us out looking for the Prince, which would be the third time for that particular little jaunt, so he's irritable." The half-dwarf shrugged again. "He'll get over it."

"Oh," Thelradas suddenly felt wretched for intruding on such personal information. "That's...I'm sorry."

"Don't be. Better you know, and not get angry when he says something really stupid to you." Koran told her.
"I can hear you both." Kiran said over his shoulder, giving a glare to Koran then turning to look ahead again.
"I know you can." Koran called back. "Look, he'll warm up to you eventually, it just takes time."

"I see," is what she said, but she clearly remained unconvinced of this possibility.

"So these Mogu are using titan relics?" Richard asked as he looked over the papers Gundar had handed him.
"Among other things but we recovered what appeared titan in origin from one of there vaults." He said. "I wasn't there but I heard that it looked like that space creature you and Sparkbolt met in Ulduar." He added.
"Algalon." Richard said looking up and shook his head. "But he was supposed to be the only one." He said as he started to gather his papers.
"Look." Gundar said scratching his beard. "These Mogu are doing stuff that most of our mages and researchers can't even begin to explain and we need someone who's used to dealing with this kinda stuff."
"You mean the kinda stuff that kills you or leaves you with missing limbs?" Richard asked.
"Yes." Gundar said then slammed his fist on the table. "Look. I know you're not exactly fond of us right now but for a second put all that aside and think of what would happen if the mogu win or if the horde gets ahold of any of this stuff." He said.
Richard tapped his papers on the table as he thought. "Fine!" He said sighing and rolled his eyes. "But I'm keeping anything I find and the instant any of them try to order me around I'm out." He said and smacked Gundar with the stack of papers. "And you need to calm down or your beard will turn grey." He added standing up and started for the door.

"So, why the postal service?" Koran asked, changing gears. Kiran kept watch as he walked, knowing that the Yangol were still suppose to be about in this area, as were the Hozen; he had no desire to fight with the yak men or the monkeys.

"Well, the post have been experimenting with different ways to deliver the mail, since only Post Master's have access to the global portal network. There's the traditional mail carriers of course. But they've been trying some more...unorthodox ways. Like dwarven tunneling machines, letter cannons. Oh!" She smiled the smile of people who can look back on an idea and find amusement in their stupidity. "For a little while they tried training pigeons! to carry the letters. Can you believe it? Pigeons!" She chuckled at the absurdity of the idea and shook her head, adjusting the brim of her cap ruefully. "Needless to say, some ideas have been better than others."

"Sounds like it." Koran said, glancing around as they went. "But I suppose a druid is a good choice for a mail carrier; what with the several different ways you can travel quickly, and being able to fend off attackers."

She shrugged. "It's a recent idea, actually. After the pigeon fiasco they started recruiting druids into the Post Service as fliers." A hand patted the satchel at her side. "There's plenty who can carry the mail over ground, but it can be unreliable for a number of reasons. And the mail
has
to be reliable," she said somberly. "If people can't believe in the mail, what can they believe in?"

The trio left the area around the Stair and head outwards. "I suppose so." Koran said, a little surprised by how into the mail the Elf seemed to be. "Gotta admit, surprising to see a Night Elf being this interested; maybe Gnomes or Humans, but not your race." He said with a grin.

Thelradas smiled back, but with a trace of wistfulness. "Yes...Like I said, we are recent additions. Not too many Kaldorei even thought of the idea of an organized mail system. If we needed to communicate something, it was by going in person or...speaking to the wind or some sort of rubbish like that. Horribly inefficient. The strange thing is that we were sending missives already, but only with the military. Fortunately it was pretty extensive, but not widespread for anything otherwise."

"I see." Koran said. "Well, at least now people can keep in touch with each other over the length of the world. But it's not a job I would want; I've seen mail boxes in places that no sane being should have to travel."

The post woman drew herself up. "Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow, nor demonic invasion (or otherworldly agents where applicable) shall stop the mail! The Post Master General himself has delivered letters into Ulduar itself!" Just under her breath could be heard something to the effect about engineers and being inconsiderate buggers.

'
Talk to the hand
' was all the warning Jastiel needed to throw himself out of the fireball's way. Even so, his face blossomed with red here and there and his white raiment acquired several damp stains where the scalding steam brushed past the cryomancer. Wasting no time, he slashed the air in front of him, and in the wake of his white sword a barrage of frost bolts was let loose into Brakkis Henson.

Alana watched carefully on the screen, ducking down below it.
Digging below her desk, the Half-Dragon pulled a book free, a collection of what little recorded knowledge there was on Zul'Gurub and other Troll ruins. Blowing the dust off the front cover she cracked it open and began scanning for anything that might be useful.

: Isaac Ashwood
Location
: Zul'Gurub
Isaac could make little noise when he wanted. He was not quite as light-footed as Valor, of course, but it would still take no small amount of effort to pick up the signs of his presence.
Naturally, that meant his lightning claws lay in dormancy within his gauntlets; the hum of the matter-disrupting field engulfing the activated talons was quite audible. More than once it had worked as an intimidation factor in his favor.
