Is it one eye or two? And is it the eyelid or the eye itself?
Edit: Your actual eyeballs twitching can be a sign or irregular brain activity. If you do have an eyeball twitch I would seek medical attention. If both of your eyelids are twitching it could be induced by psychology, or less likely, brain problems again, in which case you should probably seek medical attention. If you have one eyelid that is twitching, just get some rest, your muscles are tired.
Edit Edit: Milk will do 0 for your problem, btw... sorry Zaputo.

Turn on more lights. Your eye may be having trouble focusing, and your muscles are getting tired holding your eyes in focus. On the other hand, you may have sat in the sun all day. You may be reading too much. You might need to get new glasses. You may just be stressed. It may be a nervous tic.... etc etc etc...

I don't know where worldcupfury gets his statistics. I would say that most are, perhaps even 99% as he claims. I would suggest that any spasms of the face shouldn't be ignored for too long if they persist.

Nuke - eyetwitching itself doesnt cause damage, but can sometimes be a sign that damage has been caused.
