Shadowpriests are getting an MS? Link information please. This could really change the class (warlock/spriest comps again) and make comps such as shadowplay much more viable.

You forgot to mention is a 20% MS debuff, you obviously knew it was but decided not to mention it.
20% isnt that big a deal compared to 50%

Come on. I am a priest and hate this buff. Blizzard completely fails in creating more, innovative ways of balancing classes - so they hand everything to all classes. GG blizz, in the end, plate will kill anyone because they can heal, have -200% reduction cooldowns, and the only difference from a priest is that they are on plate.
As for the priest class, it may help the resurface of Shadow Priests, but it is still trying to get priests more on the offensive, where Shadow's problem is survival.
Disappointing.
EDIT: And could you link source? Wowhead isn't yet updated for this particular change.

Rets aren't nerfed, they have been "reworked". They have far, far less opening burst, but once they've charged up 5 stacks of vengence on the target, they're doing much more sustained damage than they ever have. Its perfect IMO, all they need to do is take this same step with rogues (make them weak as hell until they built up 5 combo points and use a finisher - maybe slice and dice? - and then they can start pumping out their current level of damage) and arena will be on the road to balanced.

All DPS classes try to kill their enemy, so obviously all DPS classes are the exact same thing.
No, as long as the mortal strikes are applied in different but equal ways, they can still be unique but at the same time balanced.
All the above poster really says to me is "I don't want to see able to partner with anyone but my class!"

More on topic: If Spriests are really getting an MS debuff, I'll most certainly be running shadowplay next season with a shaman healer, due to their class changes and the resilience changes making burst not-so-retarded.
That was my plan for a 3v3 team. I'll have to see how it goes, but warlock-priest-shaman may become a much more viable comp due to the huge resilence (and shaman) changes. This 20% MS helps sweeten the deal.

Hum. Maybe you're right, i am being too... well, unpractical.
Although the Priest tree has to change. I don't see Imp.Mind Blast as a fair pre-tier 4 point - it would allow healing priests to get it.

I don't see Imp.Mind Blast as a fair pre-tier 4 point - it would allow healing priests to get it.
Improved Mind Blast has an additional effect -
while in Shadowform
your Mind Blast also has a 20/40/60/80/100% chance to reduce all healing done to the target by 20% for 10 sec.

This is retarded. The original from Badguy would be closer to what DK's have. Better yet, give Heroic Throw this effect and remove it's cooldown. The original effect from Badguy, not the idiotic "Fix'd?" from TheMediator.

OP- This is a good change, and shadow priests have very good survival. This might make them viable enough to actually play healer/dps and actually win some games.
