Moonkin Rotation Question

I understand the basics of the rotation, this is mainly to fully understand what is meant.
Insect Swarm
Moonfire
Wrath (till Lunar Eclipse)
Starfire (till Solar Eclipse)
Refresh DoTs outside of Eclipse.
I've heard different things about refreshing the DoTs, and I just want some clarification.
Do I:
let the DoTs drop off after a first cast, wait till eclipse stops, then refresh
Never let the DoTs drop off
Or refresh them at some specific instance I may not be getting.
Thanks in advance

I don't have anything ober said. I'm building the gear from scratch, everything right now is about Ilvl200, w/ 2pT7 bonus (windfall drops, why I decided as 2nd spec). And, now that I think about it, any recommended trash rotations? (1-3 and a 3+ please and thanks)
(the security code for posting says noobe, how i feel w/ boomkin :))

Idol of Lunary Fury
?
The 2t9 bonus
?
If you have either of these then you refresh MF the second it drops from the target even if you are in an eclipse.
Improved Insect Swarm
?
If you have the above then you refresh IS as it drops from the target.
Over all the best way to find this out is to play with the spread sheet WrathCalcs. On the second(?) tab it shows the rotation and effective damage for each spell. Enter your information into he first tab then look at the second tab to see what does more straight damage.

if you're in an eclipse and the non-supplemental DoT (IS for Lunar Eclipse and MF for Solar Eclipse) drops off, doesn't it make sense to still wait til the end of your eclipse? (The MF in Solar question obviously becomes moot with the Idol or with 2t9.)
By not refreshing IS during a Lunar Eclipse you're not losing much of anything by waiting. I find it really convenient to put it back up right after the last Starfire before Solar procs... just in case the timing is off enough that it doesn't, I wont have to twist at all. It also allows the entire Solar Wrath spam to benefit from IIS.

@Lespaul1981 : it's MF that provides the 3% crit benefit to SF.
@others : it is actually a dps increase to keep dots uptime as high as possible, as indicated by Lespaul. A very small one, mostly lost in the margin of execution error and all that, but in theory you lose more by not refreshing than you do refreshing (that's before T9 and idol, which just makes the choice that much easier and meaningfull for MF at least)
Edit : globally, you gain dps on dot uptimes + casting more dots and less nukes, and you lose dps on pushing some nukes out of Eclipse. A pain to model but simulationcraft gives me a ~1% difference in favor of dot refreshing.
