Modifier Macro Problem

Just a (hopefully) short one.
I've always used modifier macros for practically every skill/spell to save bar space, but i recently just started playing wow again and some of these macros wont work.
For example on my mage:
#showtooltip
/cast Arcane Blast
/cast Arcane Missiles
This is keybound to 'F' and both spells work when i press F. But if i try to CLICK while Arcane Missiles while the modifier is pressed, it will not work.
Does anyone have any ideas on why it wont work? It always used to :(

im not pro at macros. but i believe it should be
#showtooltip
/cast Arcane Blast; Arcane Missiles
easy.

I'll give that a shot, thanks!
Edit: Was nothing wrong with the macro, it was an addon, Bartender 4.
"Focus Cast Modifier" was set to "shift" which was obviously conflicting.
Problem solved, thanks for your help anyway i'll start using that macro its shorter to type :D

But that changes the original intended functionality.

Yeah Wanderingfox. If he have another mod bound to the same basic key, it will !@#$ up stuff :P

No it doesn't. The macro functions exactly the same. His keybindings may interfere with it, but holding shift and clicking the macro executes exactly as intended. The
only
case where the macro MAY not function as intended is if he has something keybound to SHIFT and the button the macro is on, but in that case your macro would not function either. Keybindings always take precedence over macro conditionals btw so if he has something bound to CTRL or ALT and the button the keybinding would fire rather than the macro, exactly as in your macro.
