I think improved healing and spiritual healing make a significant improvement to your healing longevity. using this Priest Healing Calculator, here's the difference (both use 5/5 divine fury, second number uses 3/3 imp healing & 5/5 spi healing)

heal 2414-2803 ..... 2656-3084
avg 2608 ..... 2869
max crit 4205 ..... 4625
heal/mana 3.162 ..... 4.093
heal/sec 1043.4 ..... 1147.7
mana/sec 330 ..... 280.4

not surprising, your heals are 10% stronger and 15% more mana efficient :P

that extra 1.0 heal/mana speaks to me. considering that on a typical long fight i go though 10k mana pool, 2 pots, and mana puppy... we're probably talking about 20k extra heals if i can get just 1 more heal/mana.

could you do it? maybe... how good is the rest of the raid at mitigating damage?
