I dunno about now, but i believe RAWR was pretty fail for hunters in the past. If i had to choose, i would definitely trust the spreadsheet over RAWR.
Some things to consider about Mark of Supremacy:
1) It's got sooo much hit rating it's often difficult to not waste alot of those itemization points. You are already over the hit cap with your Grim Toll, so the extra 45 provided by MoS are 100% wasted. At this point it's just proc vs proc which leads me to...
2) Don't be fooled by the seemingly superior numbers on the MoS. 1024 AP for 20 seconds looks awesome compared to 612 ArP for 10 seconds, but MoS has a 2 min cooldown whereas Grim Toll is only on a 45 second internal CD. Given the 15% chance for Grim Toll to proc on any hit, it's safe to assume you will get at least 1 PPM.... twice that of the MoS.
3) ArP is inherently more valuable than AP.. even for SV. In an SV spec, 1 pt of ArP is worth about 1.7 AP for me (this is going to vary alot from player to player dependingly largely on how much ArP they have). Granted in this case you are getting alot more of it. 1024 AP for 20 seconds vs 612 ArP for 10 seconds. However, as i said above, Grim Toll is going to proc twice as often so the total uptime should be roughly the same on both trinkets... 20 seconds every 2 min.
That means it's basically a straight 612 ArP vs 1024 AP comparison here. Using the 1.7 number i quoted early, the ArP proc translates to something like 1040 AP for me in my SV spec meaning the two procs are fairly equal.
As mentioned by other posters above, the one big advantage to an on-use trinket is that you can use them when you want to. Hitting your trinket during heroism or XT heart-phase or Icehowl stun etc is going to be alot more effective than Grim Toll randomly proccing while you are switching targets killing adds, or snobolds, or something similar.
So it really comes down to two things for the Mark:
1) Can you take advantage of the extra hit rating? If you can, it's a huge plus in favor of the MoS.
2) Can you make effecient and effective use of the on-use aspect of the proc?. If you are forgetting to use it, that's a huge negative. On the flip side, if you are good at using it at the most opportune times, it can be a large benefit.
**Edit to say i hadn't seen your armory link... only your wowhead profile which apparently hadn't been updated. It looks like you were able to take advantage of the most of the hit rating on Mark, so that was probably the right choice.
