So to change the subject... Laihendi is glad he quit working for CNN, and hopes he was either fired or pressured into quitting.
Post by
Maegord
He quit because he felt that all his power could be used to do better things, like destroying his now Arch-rival Chuck Norris

I hope they replace him with a Latino. That would be sweet justice.

They should just show episodes of Cheech & Chong.

Or replace his time slot with one of those spanish soap operas.

I'm actually upset that he was pressured to resign.
Even though I didn't agree with him 100% he offered opposing views to a lot of topics.
He was completely unprofessional. He used his show as a soapbox and shouted his opinions at anyone willing to watch him, and was extremely partisan. CNN is relatively politically neutral when compared to MSNBC and FOX, because they actually want to be taken seriously as a credible source of news. Someone like Lou Dobbs doesn't belong on a station like that.
Laihendi said for years that CNN should fire Glen Beck and Lou Dobbs... he's so glad they got rid of them.

Alright, I'm relatively new to this forum so this might have been explained before.
Why does Laihendi reffer to himself in the third person?
Post by
Laihendi
Because of the accident.

What annoyed me with him was the fact that he never had anything good to say about anybody else....
EXCEPT
....when he was referencing himself or people that said he was right.
Liberals do the same thing. And that has absolutely nothing to do with anything. Lou Dobbs is still a poor excuse for a news reporter, regardless of who else does it.
A great example is how the media sees Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin
Clinton as seen as a strong smart woman
Palin is seen as an idiot
That's because Palin acts like an idiot. And the media tends to portray Clinton more as a @#$%^ than as a strong smart woman... or at least it did during the 2008 election. Really that speaks less about how the media portrays liberal and conservative people, and more about how it portrays female politicians... which also has nothing to do with Lou Dobbs.
