Of course it is not all about lifebloom, but lifebloom is one of the 3 instants HoT we have AND dispelling it doesnt make it less potent.

Oh dont kid yourself, we can be very good bursty healers too. Look up the HT healing build, my god is it sexy for lotheb fight. I have a .78 cast on HT for 600ish mana, hiting for 6-8K. That is unreal, Crits can be upwards of 12K which is very bursty, and very fair on the mana cost. Firing of 3-4 HT's during that fight is a nice way of saying, ya i just healed the whole raid with WG and Rejuv up to this boss, now im out bursting the burst heals, not that healing is a race but we can spec ourselves to being more than just HoT eye candy.
This is the build I currently use for healing, all the time for raid healing.
