The deal with DKs it that they come into Outlands with Blue BC-equivalent gear, whereas every other character is coming in with pre-BC blues/greens and whatever BC greens they can pick up off the AH. Hence the big QQ about DKs being OP when they first came out.
On another note...
make sure your grounding totem is off CD when you thunderstorm him...that will so save your life if you pop it right afterwards.
Also, shaman already aren't the best pvp class, but even more so if you are not spec'd with some key pvp talents.

Deathknights don't get Chains of Ice until lvl 58 so you're fine until then :P
