Find a group of friends willing to let you tag along and carry you through the content.
Then when you get bored of your death knight as ICC hits, they let you tag along with your new warrior.

Even stupid people can only hold you back for so long if you set your mind to doing something.
Just push for it - 232 quality gear isn't very hard to get and it will easily be enough to raid with.

They might be your friends, but if you want to raid and they hold you back, then maybe you should ditch them in WoW only, and join a raiding guild.
If you don't have enough time for a serious raiding guild etc. you can join a casual raiding guild, like me. While in this guild, I got around ToC 10 normal, which is enough for me. I don't need epic lootz0rs, I just want to witness the epicness of the raids, which can be done in 10 man normal mode too.

Many guilds will give you a shot, even if others gear is better than yours. A player that plays well, will be in more demand than a player with great gear that does not play well. Gear can be fixed, intelligence can not.

Just join the many GDKP runs. Farm gold, and bid with it for the items you want. They will carry you if you have a lot of money to spend during the raid.

^ This.
If all you want is to be able to see and experience the new content and don't care about 'teh best lootz' than just focus on normal 10 mans. You can easily gear for that content through heroics, VoA and Ony (all of which are easily puggable, especially with the new LFG system). You don't need Ulduar gear, particularly since anything buyable with conquest is the same ilvl. Also, H ToC 5 man is your friend.
edit: i especially liked the word especially....

It is what you make of it. I have a good guild as well, that struggles to do planned raids on a weekly basis, but I've learned to gear my characters enough to not suck and PUG. I agree that there many many times that PUG's suck(no matter if its 5/10/25), its gonna happen, but honestly, its not hard. Getting gear keeps getting easier and easier. PUG 5m's to get T9 gear now? Only excuse you have about not seeing new content is not going and doing it. This past week, I cleared 10/25 Ony, 10/25 VOA, 10/25 TOC, all casually, whenever I wanted, and only did 10/25 Ony with guild. Is it lucky to do that without knowing alot of people outside my own guild, yes, but doable. I know without a shadow of a doubt, that I will 90% PUG new ICC 5m, and prob 10/25 as well, but I will get my gear in time with or withouth my guild.
