My death knight hit 80, as well. And he can get his dps up to 2.5k on a lucky fight. Oh and I have some AH purples, mostly blues, and a couple of greens left. So I have to ask you... Are you doing ~5k dps single target or just going around stratholme and AoE'ing just to get some figures? Just curious is all.

If you aren't lying your face off about having 5000 dps, then you could theoretically get into any instance or raid that you want.
If by 5k you actually meant 500 dps (or you don't know how to
properly
measure your dps), then I'd recommend starting off with the normal 80 dungeons: Utgarde Pinnacle, the Oculus, Halls of Lightning, and Culling of Stratholme.
Shamans are slightly under par as far as healing in raids go, but they can make up for it by providing a whole bunch of beneficial buffs through their totems and through heroism. On the other hand, rogues do, in fact, get a very nice
AoE spell
at level 80, making them very good contributors to the dps charts for any fight. But as far as their prowess in PvP goes, I don't know, someone else'll have to answer that.

Nothing, you beat the game.

LOL!
Yeah, 5k dps...sure. Death and decay against 20 mobs doesn't count.
Like stated above...you're either lying, have a malfunctioning meter, or don't know how to read numbers.
...Or you're a troll.
...Or all of the above.

I am also thinking about lvling an alt (after I got some good gear for my main). I want to lvl my 31 rogue or my 19 shammy. I dont know too much about these classes in the endgame, so pls help. I am on PvP server so I need a class which is good in PvP, and as far as I know, shamans sucks in world PvP. But I want to try a healer. Priests are pain to lvl, but can shamans heal as good as priests in the endgame? How good rogues can be in end-game raids? They make good dps, but dont have AoE.
And finally, what spec should I choose for lvling the alt? Currently im sub rogue and ele shammy.
Pls help and im sry for possible grammer mistakes :)
You just hit 80 and you're doing 5k? Either something is HORRIBLY wrong or you don't faceroll the class that 99.9% of Dks do.

Guys, give nax9 a break. He is obviously new to WoW and does not know everything about the game yet. Why do you a-holes have to be so rude to him? He was not "obviously lying" and was not trolling. He was just not aware of his mistake in calculating his dps correctly. You kids need to grow the f up.
