Issues Uploading with WoWHead Client

I'm running Win 7 64-bit and AVG internet Security, and I run through a D-Link Router. Anytime I try to upload information to WowHead it jumps right to 2% showing the data transferring then dies down to nothing and stays sitting at 2% till it either times out or I cancel it.
I've tried running it with the firewall turned off and the seems to make no difference at all. I heard something about maybe the gzip compression causing an issue but I can't find that post again. Any suggestions or am I just out of luck here?

I've had the router for years and have uploaded to WoWhead before in the past but it's probably been a year since I've played WoW much. This is also a completely new computer I'm gaming on now as well. AVG is set to allow WoWHead but I keep thinking something else is being blocked.

Shouldn't be a router or firewall issue, I am pretty sure the client uses port 80, same as http.

Just recently installed Windows 7 and reinstalled all my addons and the Wowhead client. I had an authentication issue ONCE, but since then I have had no issues. Are you running the Wowhead client as administrator? I shut the stupid "this program wants to write to your computer" crap off and it has made my life much easier.

Yeah, I've tried it as Admin as well as regular. No luck yet. It's not an authentication issue, I tested it with a wrong password and it prompts me that it failed, but doesn't do so with the correct password.

I've now tried this with AVG resident shield shut off, I've downloaded Winzip and installed it as one suggestion I received was that there might be a conflict with jzip or the gzip compression and AVG. Short of formating and trying with a clean system (not worth it just for a WoWHead upload), nothing will let it get past 2%. Is it possible that the data it's trying to upload is corrupted and if so how can I clear that?

Tried clearing out the games cache files. Gets to 12% and quits. Stops at - Uploading files (compressed with gzip)... and hangs up there. Basically what it was doing before just at a different percentage because the file size is different.
Have also tried this on my wife's computer. Does the exact same thing. This is on Win 7 64 bit, AVG Internet Security, and behind a D-link Router. Is there some program someone can suggest to try to track to see where it's getting blocked at?

Historically the Client has had a few conflicts with AVG. Can you (temporarily!) disable AVG and see if it works?

Had this exact issue with win7 until I added the client to Kaspersky's exceptions list. Just throwing that out there for others who seem to get the "stuck uploading halfway through" thing.
