Any addon is safe if it is legal and has no .exe's in it. As far as I know WoWInterface holds true to that.

He's asking about the sites to download from. You know, keyloggers and the like.

I've used WoWi and Minion MMOUI almost exclusively since starting WoW and I've had no problems.
I like Minion a lot better then Curse Client too.

I've never had and bad experiences or feelings about Curse and the Curse client - everything has always been pefectly fine...
.. until 2 months ago.
They're so extremely %^&*ish now, it's amazing.
i.e., when you visit an addons page and click the download button, the first time you load that page, the button for the manual download is actually disabled (leaving only the button to install it using the curse client / install the curse client to do so). You have to actually reload the page to use the manual download.
It's marketing, yeah, but so incredibly intrusive...

Haven't MMOUI had a few vira? Something tells me that I read it on mmo-champNot to my knowledge. I've never personally had any problems with it (other then Recount not being supported...). I haven't really noticed many bugs either. The search is a little tricky to use, you have to be pretty much dead-on with the name when looking for certain addons, but other then that its been solid.

Wow interface > Curse imo. I use it pretty much exclusively for my addons. It's got a lot more support from addon authors and a good dev community too.

I use Firefox with a plugin (forget what it's called) that blocks java on a page until you click on it. Using this, I can click on the little box where "Manual Install" would be and load it without refreshing the page. Life is good.
The interstitial ads are beginning to get VERY annoying, though.
The addon should be called NoScript for Mozilla Firefox.
On a side note: you aren't doing yourself a favour enabling java or ads- I didn't even know wow forums had any until someone mentioned it O.O

Well you can do THAT with vanilla WOW...
/y J u s t p u t s p a c e s i n w h a t y o u s a y !
The languagizer doesn't scramble individual letters. I've had a number of alliance guys diss me this way.

Then explain to me why It actually works. The last time was yesterday.
You may want to try something like this out before you pooh-pooh it as false.
The text I saw was:
Charactername (Common) Y o u l o s e !
And I was playing an Orc...who of course doesn't speak common.
If anyone wants further proof, log a character on Scilla Alliance and try it...take the character to Booty Bay and post the name of the character and when you'll be there (Pacific time Evenings is best)
Either it works with simple spaces, or the alliance guy who did this has some kind of hack.
