Just remember - wait for the elevator when heading to the central portal room - otherwise you'll end up in the "pile-o-noobs" at the base :)
that's just aldor, scryers can jump off without any problems
add to that i almost always jump off, it's one of the benefits of being a paladin, divine protection and shield ;)

light feathers sell for nothing on my server. I just jump and look cool my casting levitate. Yeah, and at lvl 40 a got a port to shatt from a guildie, and made it my home, its really helpful being able to travel to all the cities.

Be more organised - you shouldn't need to hearth more often than once an hour ;)
you can always ask for an instance hearth as well, get another person to invite you to party, gointo the nearest instance, and leave group
