As stated above, farm Murlocs for the shells that might contain these, or run Gnomeregan to collect
Grime Encrusted Objects
, which can be cleaned in one of the sparklematic machines in the Gnomer Clean Room to get a
Sparklematic-Wrapped Box
, which contains an Iridescent Pearl around 2% of the time.

What you need to farm for the
Iridescent Pearls
is to farm
Snapjaw's
for
Thick-shelled Clams
. The best place to farm them is in Alterac Mountains along the bank of Lordamere Lake or along the river that runs from Southshore township along the outskirts of Tarein Mill, up into Alterac Mountains, and into Western Plaguelands. They also drop copious ammounts of
Turtle Meat
that can be very usefull if you are a hunter or turned into
Soothing Turtle Bisque
and sold on the AH or used by you.
If your like me i just use an alt around that level for the exp. and grind the turtles or use my main. I have grinded these turtles for hours and have a macro for opening clams. The clams are about a 50/50 drop and the pearls are a 2-12% drop from the clams (in my exp wowhead shows 2%) but for this I just went and farmed 100 turtles got 47 clams and from that got 4 Iridescent Pearl, 6 Small Lust. Pearl, and plenty of Tangy Clam Meat.
If you are grinding these for a proffession its not worth the time or labor. These are a drop that is not realy farmable unless you have alot of time and dont realy need them for yourself. If you need for a crafted item its best to buy off the AH and if your short on cash... There are plenty of ways to make gold and not many to get the Pearls.

I've got 4 irridescent pearls from the murlocs in wetlands for my mage Tailor/Enchanter. Mind you, the drop rate is horrible and I took forever to get 'em, but the murlocs there are plentiful, and pretty easy to farm.
Cause, you could just get them off the AH (which I did after I got tired of farming) for about 1-2g each.

I'd recommend the turtles in Alterac Mountains once you're level 30 or so. Decent droprate, good cash drops, and plenty of turtle and clam meat to cook. If you don't get the pearls you need then at least you'll get the gold to buy them, especially if you have cooking.

If you ask something that's already discussed in another thread you get flamed for not posting in that thread.
