I am currently leveling an alt with inscription and I gotta say it's really hard to make real gold while you're still leveling it. Researching the AH before making each glyph to level would require too much time. About 75% of the glyphs I made in bulk to level aren't worth more than 50s-1g. I think the idea is that the money comes from higher level glyphs and also good minor glyphs. For instance, something like Glyph of Unburdened Rebirth or Glyph of Levitate/Slowfall will always sell pretty decently because the majority of people use at last one of them, and many use two (for both of their specs). The days when inscription made thousands of gold each and every day are gone because the last batch of new glyphs was released months ago and many people know and sell them now. BUT scribes still make a good profit, it's slow and steady.

im assuming your assuming that you will sell all of your glyphs within in a day or so i dont think that can realistically happen unless your on a new server and no one has glyphs. also you need to figure out what are the glyphs that are in demand and when you sell them in order to maximise your profit.
also for a good vid/guide on how to make money using glyphs

^^ does help.
Although the market is very fierce. I suggest undercutting by 1cp (which is what I do), and only putting 1 or 2 glyphs of a certain type up at any given time.
I usually do a quick check in the morning, once after work, and then once before I go to bed. I don't flood the market, but I usually have about 50-60 glyphs up at any given time, and about 10 sell a day. Many are in the 2g range, but a few are 20-30g.
Also to note, there are a lot of idiot sellers in Inscription. I've seen a person post two dozen of a certain glyph that sells normally for 10g for 10s. Now, you can either buy out the ones for 10s, and hope he doesn't post another two dozen at that price,
or
you can wait it out and let his expire.
