Hey, you should also try 'soundtrack'. It's a very advanced ingame mp3 player which let's you set your own music for spesific ingame evvents such as flight, fighting, specific zones, dancing... everything actually. It even let's you create and manage playlists.

I'm pretty sure WoW can only access its own folder structure. I was thinking you could maybe do something with a whole bunch of symlinks (junctions in the NT-based Windows world). WoW would think the files were in its directory but they would really be elsewhere.

I'm not sure if I like the idea of making that many of those things, though. Alt-tabbing is pretty much instantaneous for me anyway since my desktop and WoW run at the same resolution and refresh rate.
