i'm like lol when i read this thread
if you can't commit yourself to make a good impression into the guild you're applying to, you probably don't have the commitment to partake and participate in the raid
and farberian's always looking for a good opportunity...
so double lol

The best guild application in the world won't mean a thing if they can't play up to standards. So unless you're including free "how to play" lessons in that 25$, I'd probably say the idea won't go very far.

Yeah, like Miyari says.. With your help, they can make a great first impression, but once the guild starts dealing with the person and realizes they're not who they advertised, there will be some problems.
It's like showing up to your interview in a fancy suit, then coming in on the first day of work in a wifebeater and sweats.

Raiding lessons would be better. For level 70s to learn what talent builds are most effective, skill rotations, skills specific to their class (ie. threat generation) but in any case, no one would pay for things you can learn on the internet (or would they- wouldn't be the first time).

It wouldn't work if your customer was on a different realm.
the customer could move to the tutor's realm to study and move back once the training is complete, 50 more dollars to blizz...

I think you should just start playing again Faberian, and stop thinking so much about the game.

Did you forget the 3 month cooldown in between transfers?
no... but I'm pretty sure the lessons will take a while
1. it takes time to put together a willing raid who will take a newbie for "learning experience"
2. I'm pretty sure Farberian or whoever is doing this will have to schedule over time due to multiple customers
3. I'm pretty sure that you won't be raiding 6 times a week for 3 hours each, that means you'll only have time for 1~2 raids each time
4. you'll be learning rotations as well, that means you need to be exposed to different groupings, meaning that you'll need to run the same raid instance several times over
and etc.
it'll take a
while
