Here's a few misc. sites I had bookmarked under reference material:
http://www.w3schools.com/
- If you want to learn
the right way
, go here. 100% official nerdage.
http://960.gs/
- 960 Grid System (web design)
http://www.yellowpipe.com/yis/tools/ASCII-HTML-Characters/index.php
- ASCII & HTML Character codes
http://desktoppub.about.com/od/designbasicsindex/Graphic_Design_Basics.htm
For hardware...well, a lot of Googling and reading on sites like Tom's Hardware, etc. Use Wikipedia to learn about basic components of a computer, etc. I learned to change my fuel filter through Google and wrote a guide on it. Amazing stuff.
IM NOW JUSS A GREEZY NERD LOL! SO MANLY ROH-HOH-OH!

Oh! Yes, Computer Hope is a great resource. Always try to figure out your PC problems yourself, you can learn so much thanks to Microsoft. <3 Every issue is an opportunity!
To pull your hair out and go bald, woo-hoo!

Pick up a book on C, might I suggest C for Dummies? It will start you off with programming more so than HTML and CSS.
Also, find a junk computer from like the 1990's.
Take it apart, note all the parts and what they do. Then put it all back together.
WITHOUT extra screws lying around...
Thats your first step(s).
