First: ALWAYS start with Bubble. If you have to bubble, sit and drink, then go fight.
Second: As a caster at low level without those nice Artifact items with a twink enchant on it (+22 Intellect) then you're going to have mana issues and end up drinking a LOT. Every 2-3 pulls likely.
Third: Rotations -
Start with a bubble (as stated above) then use a long cast, like Holy Fire and a DoT like SWP. Then MB, Smite until dead or Wand if you wanna conserve mana. Renew if you need, refresh bubble and heal you really need.
there shouldn't be a significant road block at the low 20's. Good luck!

He's level 11. That's his warlock who's level 22.
I hadn't any issues at all with staying alive, just shield yourself at all times.

Your friend was joking lol. Bubblehearth is an old paladin joke based on Divine Shield + Hearthstone combo.
Your shield is Power Word: Shield. It does look like a bubble, indeed :p Unlike the paladin's "bubble" it does not make you invincible and only absorbs a certain amount of damage, so be ready to recast it as soon as it wears off.

I hated the Ghostlands for levelling my priest, like you say, pulling multiple mobs seems to happen a lot. Try Silverpine Forest or The Barrens for levelling, I did pretty much all of both areas and found it much better, things are a bit more spread, particularly in The Barrens.

THEN, immediately as the first spell finishes casting, pop off a SW:P. That way you get basically two hits for the price of one. If you start with the instant spell you're left with a global cooldown PLUS whatever cast time of the spell you're about to toss off next, a relatively long period of time when you're locked up and can't do anything while the mob is barreling down on you.
Not exactly "two for the price of one" you just get both casts off at the same time. ;-)
So if one's doing the shadow thing at level 11, an attack "rotation" (you shouldn't need to rotate anything, heh heh), would be: power word: shield, mind blast, shadow word: pain, mind flay mind flay, wand until dead. One mind flay might be sufficient also.
Lvl 11 doesn't have MF yet. :-(
Then let spirit tap run its course to mana up again and attack the next mob. Or if you're impatient just attack immediately, that way you still benefit from the last shield you cast, as it should last longer than it took to kill the previous enemy.
Lvl 11 doesn't have more than one point into Spirit tap either...

No offense but is this a joke? Spriest, or even holy priests at that level are one of THE BEST classes for survivability. At that level, armor isnt THAT important and neither is stats on gear, and you have heals and you have a shield. When i was leveling my priest, i dont think i ever got hit by a mob my level. I cant imagine you getting a warlock to double your priests level. Not calling you stupid but you really need to read what your abilities do and not faceroll and hope to survive. If you're not even using your shield than a priest is the wrong class for you. Try a pally where you can slam your face on your keyboard and kill everything in the zone.
Is this a troll post?
The OP stated the problem is surviving multiple mobs, and is asking for help. I think it would be nice to get a friendly and helpful response. They also say they have a paladin, so that point is moot.
Anyway, try to pull one mob at a time, it makes things a lot easier.
At level 11 you should have smite, shadow word: pain and mind blast for offensive spells. You have said that you already have a wand.
Rotation: Power Word: Shield, Pull with Smite, Mind Blast, Smite, wand until dead. It worked for me at the lower levels and if you need a bit of healing, use renew. Refresh Power Word: Shield if needed.
If you pull more than one mob, Shadow Word: Pain the others while dpsing down the first, and hope Spirit Tap will proc (seeing as at 11 you will only have 2/3 spirit tap.)
However, if the mob will not die with only 2 smites and one mind blast, add in another smite.
Generally, priest leveling is annoying until around level 40, when you get shadowform.
Hope this came in handy. :D

One thing to spend money on as a low level priest is a wand. Pick one up of the AH or if you are an enchanter make your own. Wand is OP at lower levels, make the most of it.
Yeah a wand is your best friend till about lvl 20 when you get mindflay.

Definitely get a nice wand. I always make sure to buy the two low level Craftable wands for my friends as gifts when they start priests.
And yes, shield is your best friend, and do not be shy about self-healing. That healing is staying-power, effectively used. A good wand gives you the flexibility with your mana that you need to be able to keep shield up consistently, heal yourself when necessary, and apply your dots. Especially in multi-mob situations.
Don't feel bad, my priest is my first serious character, and I died a ton with her at very low levels in the Dranny start areas. It really does get much easier at level 40. But even before that point, as some of your talents begin interacting with eachother a little, things do get easier and more exciting. In this time, you're also building familiarity with the class, which also helps.
BTW, if you need a chance to be running instances, find a casual guild. Get to know them, and after a while you can start grouping with similarly leveled characters (make sure to offer help to players near your own level and a bit lower, too). Or bonus points if you have friends and family who play and are willing to help you out or learn with you.
I know not everyone is comfortable with heavily group-oriented play, and LIKE to play solo as much as possible. Some are even just shy and nervous about or strongly averse to the idea of PuGging. But a casual grouping with people you've gotten to know can be a huge benefit. You may not have the same successes as those who go all-in for this stuff, but you'll do better than simply soloing. And you may even find later that you want a more serious, raiding guild.
And maybe you just haven't found a class you really like yet. You'll find something you love and people you love doing it with and blaze past level 22 at some point =)
