How to be beaten by a Warrior

Hi Rogues,
I've been playing a Prot Warrior for around 2 years and I've decided to get into PvP as a side-hobby from raiding so that in Cataclysm I can do serious arena from the first season of the expansion.
Obviously an intricate knowledge of other classes abilities is required to really get to the high ratings, so I'm trying to learn more about other classes from the people who play them.
I'd really appreciate if anyone could tell me some tips on how, as a Warrior, I can beat (or at least do well) against a good Rogue.
I know, for example, that I shouldn't waste my trinket on Cheap Shot, since then I'll almost certainly eat a full duration Blind. I also know that it's a good idea to get the sword and board out if I think a Rogue is nearby to at least mitigate some of the damage when I get stunned for their opener.
Some specific questions:
- Is there a strategic time that I should disarm? For example, just before a Rogue gets a certain number of combo points? (Btw, I'm not sure if I can even see a Rogue's combat points on their unit frame... sorry, it's been so long since I PvP'd.)
- Is there a "key time" to use Bladestorm? (i.e. when is the Rogue most vulnerable to it? Should I wait until I have seen the Rogue use Sprint so they can't get away easily, or should I assume that they used it to quickly get to my side of the arena at the start of the match?)
- Is there a "key time" to use Retaliation?
Any other tips would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

save trinket for blind, and make sure you have your sword and board for the stunlock, most rogues will dismantle you before CS is up to prevent bladestorm- but you dont want to bladestorm right out of a stunlock because the rogue will just sprint away (if this does happen make sure you have a /stopcast command attached to bladestorm so you can charge back over to him preventing a restealth) keep rend up to prevent bandaging and make reopening harder.
Disarm as soon as possible to force him on the defensive
Before you use blade storm make sure you have hamstring or howl on him, alot of rogues will use sprint as an o*!@# button the second they see bladestorm, but with hamstring up they aren't going anywhere and have just blown a cd (or if he trinkets the snare /stopcast and re-howl before he gets range on you)
as long as you keep him in range, dont let rend drop, and keep him playing defensive, it shouldn't be to hard
