Better take another look at binding heal there elrael.
My average heals raid buffed are:
Flash Heal: 5,500 to one target
Binding Heal: 6,300 to two targets for a total of 12,600 healed.
If mana is not an issue for you then Binding Heal is about a 15% throughput increase.
edit: Though tbf on Patchwerk I keep up ProM and Renew, then I just Gheal spam until the fight is done, unless I'm not a MT healer.
I believe that BH per target healed the same as FH. It was designed around that idea.
I see a difference of 500 healing MAX on FH vs BH personally, let's blame numbers now
The
spell coefficients on wowwiki show the same coefficient, I assume this counts for BH per target or else it would be a lot weaker then FH.
The base healing of Flash Heal is 1896 - 2203
The base healing of Binding Heal is 1959 - 2516
Conclusion the numbers point at a 2000 average FH vs a 2250 BH(both per target) with the same amount of scaling.
If you got a low FH and a high BH you get a difference of 600 healing.
But in the end yes BH heals on an average more. Talking about a difference of 50-600 healing, with 250 as average difference.
So either the numbers are wrong, or your sample is short? How many BH's and FH's did you do?
Also realize BH has double crit chance compared to FH, but again per target should be the same.
