As for passing the Spark; yes, I was saving my roll (we have a loose one-loot-equals-one-mark-against-your-name-per-run-type loot system) for my tiered gear (I am
adorrrrring
the 4pce bonus) and I ultimately wasn't sure just how badly 'locks liked having Spirit. I didn't have much need for regen at the time, either - we'd only been into Ulduar thrice and I had no idea what Vezax even
did
.
Please let me live; I'm a lowly casual who's been told to hate Spirit and I wouldn't hurt a fly. :(Stay of execution granted. As for the warlock, however...
The four-piece bonus trumps just about everything, and certainly looms large over this special-purpose trinket. Also: don't hate spirit, but don't love it either.

Everyone seems to be obsessed with gear gear gear and stats... So I won't even discuss it. Has everyone forgotten about their actual mana regen spells? like Hymn of Hope, Shadow Fiend, and (yes even) MANA POTS! Dont' be afraid to pop your Shadow fiend early in the fight, just means you'll get another run of mana later on when it cools down. Burn your mana down to about 50% then blow your shadow fiend, when you get a breather later if you're down on mana, use your Hymn of Hope. You should be able to get a 2nd run of these for most battles. It's like having a second wind. Your mana pots are for emergencies only because they do NOT have a cooldown, they're best used late in the fight to give you some endurance until your SF and HoH cool off.
