The easiest way to kill them is to spec SL/SL.

Warrior stun is not that long 3s: you could deatthcoil then fear chain him fairly easily.
rogues are tough: our nemisis. our only defense is really death oil and fear, assuming your not affliction. i have a spec that gives me a 10% to stun the target: basically a sl/r: problem is the stun chain they have.: you may never recover: i death coil repeatedly so that right when i recover i can gett out with a DC.; cast fear, seed of corruption then spam searing pain hoping to get a stun: if i do great may have time for a soulfire/sb or something big, or keep casting Searing pain to get another stun. if you see the fear break, possibly when SOC goes off, cast fear again, plant SOC again and spam for the searing pain or soulburn (has CD, so do this towards end) stun (aftermath).
You could stock up on Free action potion: which EVERY lok should have on their action bar.
the spec is soul link/ruin, with 3 in searing pain crits and 3 in suppression to reduce the resist chance for fear and SOC.

I looked that up: your right your dead if they have that.: I wonder if HOT is considered a fear effect as well
All this really depends heavily on spec of both, apparently. Rogues I dunno ive always struggled against them not sure if theres better ways than DC/F

Because the original post was six months before that sticky was written?
Just a hunch.
