I'm coming back to WoW and downloaded World of Warcraft from the account management page. I logged into the game and it said my account is eligible for WotLK and to go download WotLK... but on the installer it had 3 options, WoW, bc and wotLK, I chose WoW and thats where I'm at. The problem is, I don't know whether BC is installed or not

If you chose WoW, then WoW is all you have installed. Just download the Wrath expansion. If it's the same files as the disk then it'll have all the game files for Vanilla and BC.

Actually the background image where you login will tell. If you have the Icecrown and Dragon its Wrath. Burning Crusade I cant remember exactly, and Vanilla wow was something real plain. Heck it probably even says on the WoW logo thats on that login screen which version it is. I know on the character selection screen once you login it will have the World of Warcraft logo.
Vanilla was the
Dark Portal - Azeroth side
.
The Burning Crusade was the
Dark Portal - Outlands side
.
Wrath of the Lich King is
Sindragosa the Frost Wyrm landing and taking off in front of Icecrown Citadel
.
