its not supposed to be a happy city of soft-fuzzy-pink things that are nice- Its the horde ffs of course its a bit darker.
For me i feel like they match the races that inhabit them

Can't say that I'd ever consider what the cities of a faction are to be a consideration in what character I roll.

Hi, i would like playing horde char, but i dont like the look of this cities. In every alliance city or village i have the feeling i am "at home". For example in Ironfolg
i can just sit there and whatch
at all the high lvls, guards etc.
I've only been in Orgrimmar and Undercity a few times in stealth on my Alliance rogue, and the OP makes a good point.
One thing I liked about IF - especially as I leveled - was the sense of community around the bank and auction house. I too would just sit there and watch other player's toons. SW doesn't have quite the same feel, but it is OK. I haven't seen anyplace in Org or UC where players hang out.

I've like orgrimmar, despite the thundering music it feels like home. I also love thunderbluff for its layout, its views and setting.
Silvermoon is nice, slightly disney landish but it has its charm, I like coming to it to work on my trade.
The only one I dislike is undercity, I hate that place, it doesn't feel like it goes with any of the other cities the horde have.
As for the alliance cities:
Exodar - to bright with those annoying crystals
Darnassus - doesn't feel like a city more like a big garden centre.
Ironforge - a bit better then some but like undercity, I don't like the fact its got no sky
Stormwind - Not bad, but feels like a wedding cake.

Horde in Orgrimmar congregate from the top of the bank to the auction house entrance. I don't mind Orgrimmar or TB. I am almost exclusive to Org as Dal is too laggy and anywhere else is out of the way. I'm a mage though so the cities are just a click away.

I think the horde cities are great.
Orgrimmar is powerful, and impressive. Lots of lively interesting people on top of the bank and around the AH.
Undercity is dark and mysterious, but easy to navigate as it is organized around a central hub.
Thunder Bluff is peaceful and naturalistic, though all the rope bridges get on my nerves after a while. Also COME ON! We have to portal into a CAVE far away from almost anything useful? Why?
Silvermoon is all gold sparkles and enchanted brooms. It can be hard to figure out where stuff is, but no harder than trying not to get lost in the stinking Exodar. >.<
Your post can be summed up with "Horde are Teh Ugleee. Ew."
Very original. May I suggest rolling a female night elf druid with pink hair. You can then be a cute little living care bear. Have fun!

UC is all about undead, if you do not like undead, no wonder you don't like UC. I personally just love the grim atmosphere that sais "the living are not welcome". And the whole area of Tirisfal Glades is about the same context. My main toon is an undead and i could not be impressed more with the starting area. Ghostlands felt at home when i was leveling an undead alt too. And of course i love our main city - Orgrimmar. Just has the right Horde feeling in it. Basically its because i liked the Horde buildings ever since Warcraft 2. And when i level an orc nothing feels more like home, then the Barrens.
So all in all i think the cities were built in a good way, meaning that they match the race, that inhabits them and it is only a matter of preferrence. For me, i like how the undead lands and ruins of Lordaeron set the Forsaken a bit apart from the rest of the Horde.
