Holy - Crit or Haste?

I've been thinking lately, do I not have enough Haste as Holy? I've been stacking Crit as much as possible, and I've got 25% holy crit unbuffed.
Crit: 535 (19.52%, 24.52% for Holy spells)
Haste: 171 (5.22%)
I can easily switch a few pieces out for Haste equivalents (IE, I'm currently wearing
Unblinking Eye
, which i can easily switch with
Evoker's Charm
.)
I mean, Crit is good, right? Flash of Light and Holy Concentration are up almost all the time. Is there a certain amount of Haste I should be aiming for?

Speaking as a Disc, who in general ignores GH and feels PoH to be a horrible chore due to their casting time outside of Borrowed time , yes, holy should get haste. while it may not seem all that signifigant to reduce a spell by .4 sec , the fact that you can throw 3 GH in 8 sec instead of just 2 will mean amazing differences in healing.
crit procs are great, Come on I am disc, but being there reliably when the tank is left in the cold by other healing procs....

Haste. Stack that ASAP up to 20% if possible. Keep going until you get this.
to give you an idea, here is my BiS
http://www.chardev.org/?template=244298
As you can see. 20% haste while still keeping 23% holy crit UB. A lot of raid buffs give crit (Moonkin aura etc) and other buffs passively give crit (Kings, Int, GotW) therefore, it makes sense to stack haste as crit will come from other sources.
Try adding another 5% and see what a difference it makes. I promise you that you will love having that self reliance without counting on Proc's for fast cast times

Yeah, Flash Heal is always #3 on my heals (Recount), and I'm currently re-gemming with SP/Haste and Haste gems, currently at 9% haste, with 1.38s Fheal cast.
If it helps, here's my Armory:
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dalaran&n=Vook
I was under the impression that Haste wasn't as good as Crit, and that Holy needed to stack as much Crit as possible.

Disc = Crit
Holy = Haste
I just figured that so many buffs give crit, why stack it as holy? you hit 6 targets with one spell and the ability to hit another 5 with more. Its just not needed.
Copy the gem selection i used on chardev and you should see a very nice balanced character emerge.

I've currently got 10.70% haste unbuffed, and I almost always have a shaman in my raids, so that's +5% haste from their totem, and hell yeah, I can see the difference, alright. I haven't gotten Evoker's Charm yet, still need to build up some more badges (bought a bunch of Runed Orb with them a while ago, xP)
And I do see what you mean by "tons of buffs that give crit"...I've got 33% Holy crit raid buffed, w/ moonkin =P

I think it depends on the content you're playing and who you're running with.
If you're running out of mana it means you need more crit (to get free heals from procs).
If people are dying because you aren't healing fast enough you need more haste.
At least in the groups I'm running with people aren't dying, so I'm going for crit when I can.
Yeah, I have no problems with mana, I'm currently stacking haste, and loving it. currently at 12% unbuffed. I would have more, but i #$%^ed up last night on loot, and missed out on two pieces with big haste on them...*facepalm*

consider that both of your T9 set bonuses are buffs to instant cast spells (PoM and Emp. Renew) that will benefit more from SP and crit than haste.
Yes, but it's not really wise to gear yourself for tier bonuses, as opposed to gearing yourself for everything.

I prefer crit as holy. POM every cd with 8k crits is very nice along with the free flash heals u get from coh crits. Flash heals stack serendipity which gives me the haste i need for poh. I agree its important for holy priests to gear for haste but i dont think you can really say one is better than the other...just a matter of preference.
I wouldn't worry too much about having more crit than haste or vice versa. There is plenty of gear for both stats. Your main concern should be int and that should be your yellow gem selection the majority of the time from what ive experienced.
That's fine. but the point of stacking haste over crit is that we get crit from a lot of raid buffs and also passive crit from intellect buffs (kings, GotW, Int). I find crit to be unreliable. Haste is more reliable as it will always be in effect. We already get 5% holy crit from talents and 5% from Mookin if you have one in the raid. Its very easy to keep 20%+ holy crit even when stacking haste up to 20%
but everyone's play style is different
