Is it me or do holy paladins just not top the healing charts?
I had the third slot out of 5 healers, but 1 & 2 were FAR ahead of me in healing by like.... 3x my healing. A druid (okay) and a shaman... (?)
This time through this run I did what I usually dont do, spam holy light. To see if that was the reason but I still happened to get greatly outhealed.
I KNOW it isn't a gear difference because my gear is FAR from crappy so I'm starting to think its my mechanics...
Im using BoL on the tank and still with spam HL I seem to over heal all the time and I still ain't on top.
Any input?

You will always lose the healing charts.
BUT HERE'S THE NEWSFLASH. HEALING CHARTS ARE NOT IMPORTANT. AT all. They serve NO PURPOSE except showing who is slacking.
Healing charts show slackers, not awesome healers. If you want to know if you're being an awesome healer, look at your targets. Did they live? Then you're doing fine. Did they die? Either you, or they need to improve.

Im usually number one or two on the chart. The thing about the charts that no one really pays attention to, the thing that makes charts useful to see how good you and the other healers are, is overhealing. We naturally overheal a LOT, but if youre too much over 60% overheals, you need to get on top of things.

Your heals can be shown as one of two numbers -- a binary option.
Party / Raid lived - 1
Party / Raid wiped - 0
My second main is an 80 Disc Priest, and anyone who knows anything about healers will know how badly Disc Priests look on the meters. But if you take the time to do the math and see how much we mitigate? My PW:S ALONE usually puts me in first place on healing meters.
Holy Paladins are, effectively, healing only two targets, and overhealing happens a bit with the way they have to spam. So yes, you won't look good on meters. But if the MT lives, I'd /cheer and call it a successful day.
