My suggestions would to spec affliction until you hit 60. Then change to Demonology to pick up the felguard till 70. At 70 you can pick from a wide range of combinations, it just really depends on what you want to do with your lock (i.e. PvP, Raiding, ect.).
The reason I suggest affliction is because Curse of Exhaustion is a great tool for kiting multiple mobs at once. This can make quests and farming a lot easier. Kiting is a great way to fight, you just dot and run.
