Hey there,
so my mate thinks that a higher enchanting skill leads into more or better loot from disenchanting items, i say that the skills doesn't matter at all. Another mate told me that people aren't sure and there's allways a discussion about it, wether it gives better stuff or not.
So yeah we want to know whats going on so we can smash it in our faces for months.
Thanks in advance

No, higher enchanting lvl has nothing to do with wat u get from de'ing... all it does is let u de higher lvled things...
for example, if a de a blue that has a lvl of something like 40, then it ill obviously give u better mats then something that has a lvl of 10.
its all a matter of de'ing things that have a high % chance to give u the mats u need to do the enchants that lvl u, so that u can de better stuff, make better stuff, etc.

Quality is dependent on level range.. that's obvious - DE a lv70 item will give better Dusts/Essences/Shards than a lv50 item
Type is kinda random, although the general rule is Armor is more likely to give Dusts, Weapons more likely for Essences
Quantity is also level-dependent, but within a level range. Meaning, any 60+ BC Item will give Arcane Dust, Lesser/Greater Planar Essences, Small/Large Prismatic Shards... but DEing a 70 item might give 5 Arcane Dust, while DEing a 61 item will only give maybe 1-2
Hope that made some sense
