Both the Horde and Alliance have racials that the other faction wishes they had, this is just another one of those.
(Although it would be nice to not need that extra 1% lol)

Um, if you read the tooltip for it, Heroic Presence only affects the party that the Draenei is in, not the entire raid. Unless the raid purposefully puts a Draenei in each group, but even then you aren't guaranteed to have 5 Draenei in a raid at one time.
Actually, in a 25 man raid, you will almost always have at LEAST 5 draenei. Next time you do go on a raid, count how many are Draenei (although it is not as bad as the BE taking up half the Horde.)
No kidding... xD That's why I made a Blood Elf as my first Hordie, found out that they were practically the only race in the Horde, and never made one again. Orcs and Trolls are my new races... :P

Not always, you know. In our 25 man raids, we have at most one or two Draenei. Oh well, 3 sometimes. Very few people actually play Draenei in our guild, and we have a surprisingly high amount of Dwarves and Gnomes.

It would be nice if Horde got something similar but you have to remember that both orcs and troll racials count as a 3rd dps trinket (+AP/SP & +Haste)

Not to pour salt in your wounds or anything, but the aura is now raid wide. I do not recall when they changed it, it may have been 3.0, it may have been 3.1, but alliance now only need 1 draeni alive in the entire raid for all 25 players to get the +1% hit.
That being said, 5 draeni in a raid is not difficult either, seeing as how it seems every priest and (obviously) every shaman is a draeni.

wow talk about irony... they say Alliance is full of children... Yet all I read here is Horde going "WAAAAAAAA! I WANT ONE TOO!" lol
Reality is that both sides are balanced. Some are balanced in one way, others are balanced in another. It sucks that this particular ability SEEMS op but it really isn't. Besides, most players get hit capped... everyone doesn't assume there is ALWAYS a Draenei in a raid.. tho it is common. the extra health, nice troll and orc racials. The BE racial is quite nice too... I really don't see the imbalance.
1. I do not see anyone acting in a childish manner about this. Expressing one's wish to have this racial ability horde-side is far from what you wrote.
2. Both sides are balanced, some are just more balanced than others. The thing with most racials is that they affect only the player that plays a particular race. This one is the exception. I think this is what people have a problem with. If it gave 1% hit to only the draenei himself I doubt anyone would complain.

A tank having more health benefits everyone. A healer with increased cast speed helps everyone. Some aids are more direct, I agree, but by no mean is it the only racial that benefits others. I think it offsets Gift of the Naaru which has REALLY limited uses... hardly a life saver.
Where Trolls get increased speed, orcs get stun resist, tauren get war stomp, B.Elves get an aoe silence, undead get a decent racial trinket draenei get... gift of the naaru and +1% to hit.... which is almost useles in pvp and gift isn't comparable to any of the other racials listed in pvp. I would say Draenei are the most gimped in terms of racials, when it comes to pvp.
I think you take that logic a bit too far. I mean if we really go into it then:
1. Dwarf hunters getting extra crit with guns helps the raid down bosses faster.
2. Gnome casters having 5% more intellect increases their mana pool and dps in a raid.
3. Human weapon specs increase dps and the extra spirit increases the healer spell power and mana regen to help the entire raid.
And we could go on and on,but you see how silly it is to apply this logic to every racial ability? Of course almost every racial ability benefits the raid in some way just by benefiting any member in that raid. However, no other racial APPLIES to the entire raid like heroic presence.
What we started talking about originally was pve not pvp, so you are derailing the discussion. Do you realize what 1% hit means in a 25 man raid? It means that ALL your dpsers get an extra buff to their dps because they do not have to get hit capped and can instead gear or gem or enchant for more crit/spellpower/attack power or whatever stat they need. So yeah, I think it'd be fair to either give horde this same racial or make it apply only to the draenei in question.

On the alliance side, it does free up the need for 1% hit, which is about 33 hit rating, which can be anywhere between 2 and 5 gem slots that can go to other DPS related stats (armor pen, agi, whatever). Multiply that by every single dps in the raid (let's say you're running with 2 tanks & 5 healers, and 18 assorted dps) that means your raid as a whole can free up between 36 and 90 gem slots that would ordinarly go to hit.
I know that my raiding guild on alliance side tells the dps to gem based upon having a draeni in the raid group.
Also, isn't the 8% hit for skull level bosses (raid bosses only), and for trash isn't it something like 5 or 6%?
