I was told that afflick locks in WOTLK only works with good gear.

You were lied to, Deep Affliction doesn't require uber-gear.

As you're into raid content there's no reason Deep Aff shouldn't work for you.

Do you have any WWS logs posted that you could link?
The Aff rotation can be tricky to get down and a WWS post-mortem is often the best way to spot areas for improvement.

Edit: That has to be the worst Armory replacement that I've ever seen. Ugh, it might load a little quicker but the layout is just horrible.

You have very nice equip. You have around 2k spellpower with fell armor?
On a training dummie you should do arround 2600. This can get really high maybe around 4k in a raid eviroment with shamans dks sps and boomkins.

Most common mistakes at affliction locks is dot, clipping and less that 100% haunt uptime. You must refresh your dots AFTER their duration ends and never lets say at the last second.

Haunt must be always on target. Start casting it when its cd is up or close to that. Its a debuff not a dot so you must clip it everytime.

Also you can lose those 3 points in fel concetration. no one should hit you during pve.

Btw Ive never lost to dps to a another speced lock (demo destro 30/40 40/30 etc)
