The one thing i agree on that i do miss is that; alot of the 5 mans do seem abit too easy. Once you have been there and done them even just a few times it does just feel like a rotation, a means to an end and nothing that special.I would say that a big part of this is that players gameplay and skill has skyrocketed since the vanilla days. Between all the fansites, the people who have been around for several extensions and so on, players now know how to react to basic stuff and how to handle it. The "luck/challenge" factor we experienced back then was largely due to our own inexperience and discovering those mecanics for the first time.
Try to do those instances again with rerolls of the appropriate level and you'll see there's nothing hard at all once you know the mecanics (that mob flees at low health, that one has a knockback, .that mob heals, ..).
(of course there are still newbs and noobs now, but the general knowledge of gameplay mecanics is still lightyears ahead compared to the early vanilla period)

You complain that the developers are lazy when honestly you have yet to see their entire work. I call that lazy judgement.
You have yet to to realize their laziness. I call that lack of observational skills.
Example: I was excited when I picked up the
Blood-Tempered Spaulders
because of how good they looked, but was suddenly disappointed when I realized it shared the item model with
22 other plate shoulders
.
And
of course
raids like Naxxramas and Ulduar are going to have their own unique models for weapons (and tier armor). But he was venting about Blizzard's over-use of the same models
throughout
WoLK, not just end-game.
Lastly, TBC's problem wasn't so much the model design as the coloration. When you've got purple shoulders, a bright blue chest, neon green shoes and bright orange weapons, it looks dumb.

I want another boss packed instance like BWL. I have barely even played WotLK, so what I can I say though.
If memory serves, Blackwing lair was 8 bosses. Naxxramas has 15. Almost double. No, blackwing lair was not packed with bosses, it was packed with unneeded trash. (i did like the place though). Even Molten core has 10 bosses. Zul'gurub is 10/11 too...
...you get my point.
@OP
I personally prefer the instance designs and lore more so then classic wow. I didn't much like Burning Crusade though.
Back when i first entered Blackrock deep i think it was a 10 man raid, or even 15 maybe. That is probably why it is so big since only the mobs difficulty was changed not the qauntity.

LOL! Have you even done blackwing lair? It was boss trash boss trash boss boss boss boss boss trash boss if I remember correctly.

Yes i have been to Blackwing lair, many times. I don't see what the point of what your saying is, i said Blackwing lair was full of trash. You are on an online database so your more then capable of checking that Blackwing lair only has 8 bosses. Compare this to many other raids and you would see that it isn't that much.
Have you even done Blackwing lair?
The boss to trash ratio is so insanely high in favor of blackwing lair and none of it respawns except the suppression room. You haven't done blackwing lair otherwise you would know that.

I agree more or less. It was a lot more "intimate".
